Ways to Help Philippines Typhoon Victims

Relief efforts are underway in the Philippines to help the victims of Friday’s devastating typhoon. The storm affected more than 11 million people and inflicted hundreds of millions of dollars in damage. Tens of millions of dollars have already been pledged toward relief, but the Philippines needs more.

You can help with the relief efforts in a number of ways. Here’s how:

The Red Cross is accepting online donations to support the relief effort. Click here to give.

 
You can donate through UNICEF by filling out their online form or calling 1-800-367-5437. You can also text RELIEF to 864233 to give $10.
 
You can donate through the Salvation Army on their website, or you can text TYPHOON to 80888 to give $10.

The World Food Programme, a United Nations organization, is asking for donations online here. You can also make a $10 donation by texting the word AID to 27722.
 
Save the Children is accepting online donations here.

 
World Vision is asking for one-time donations to be made online here.

 
You can give to Operation USA’s efforts by visiting their website or calling 1-800-678-7255. You can also text AID to 50555 to make a $10 donation.
