Hour One:
How much is a stay at home mom  worth? 117 thousand a year according to a Boston Herald story. Tom and co-host Marjorie Clapprood say the number may be too low. Woman and men listeners called to discuss this and for the most part the women said the number is to low, and the men said it's too high.

Hour Two:
More on stay at home moms and mothers day . Dos and don'ts of gift giving. Some horror stories about gifts that landed with a thud.



7:30:
Boston Globe Business Columnist Steve Syre filed his daily Boston Business Report. Steve's column in today's Globe caught the eye of Tom and Marge.

Hour Three:
Ya gotta keep 'em separated. Should schools separate the boys from the girls? In a front page story in today's Globe that is the very question. Tom said separate them to avoid distraction. Marge said give a rest you puritan freaks. Most callers agreed with Tom including local teachers.

Hour Four:
Hillary stay or go?
Marjorie says stay sister stay, and that if we get to the convention she may well win. Callers in general said that Hillary may have a shot, but if she fails they will vote McCain.

Hour One:
Hillary is out then she's back? When will Hillary give up? Much to Tom and Co-host John Gonzalez's surprise Sen. Clinton did not step down. Going against the advice of even George McGovern Hillary is still going for the White House. Callers say it's great for the GOP that the Dems are fighting among themselves.


Hour Two:
I cant drive 55. In today's Globe Renee Loth writes that if we all adhere to a national speed limit of 55 mph, we can save money and the environment. Tom likes the idea, Gonzo says no way. Callers joined in and agreed with a voluntary ramp down on speeders. but a mandate no way.

Hour Three:
Back to I cant drive 55. One caller suggested a carpool and lo and behold a great idea was born. The Finneran's Forum carpool. Strecker,  Teter, Gonzo and Tom. 

 
Hour Four:
Can you hear me now? No I'm dead.  What would Jesus do? A Framingham cemetery may be the new home of a cell phone tower to the benefit of the town and the church. Tom says no way it is sacred ground . Gonzo says dead people need good cell reception to. Callers-mostly on cell phones- joined with Gonzo. One caller even asked Tom how he would know if dead people want peace and quiet, perhaps they like a lot of noise and commotion.

Hour One:
Hillary may have won in Indiana but Obama kicked her ass in North Carolina. Tom and co-host Wendy Murphy discussed the primary results that put Senator Obama one step closer to the nomination. Callers said it is time for Hillary Clinton to step down and let the party focus on McCain.
 
Hour Two:
Is the race about black and white? Male and female?  Experience against change? Wendy and Tom got into the chance of racial tension if Senator Obama doesn't get the nomination. Wendy and a caller got into a heated exchange that started an avalanche of calls.
 
7:30:
Boston Globe Business Columnist Steve Syre filed his daily Boston Business Report.. Bain capital is set to buy Bright Horizon's a daycare company in Watertown. How much you ask? $ 1.3 billion. The story is yet to come out. but it will and now you can say you knew before the rest of the city.
 
Hour Three:
Back to the Presidential race. ABC news and MSNBC have reported that Senator Clinton has canceled all Televison and radio appearances, as well as campaign stump events. The speculation is that Clinton will drop out. As the chase of the story went on  Finneran's Forum contacted ABC Radio in New York . The word from there was that Hillary had no events planned for today but had scheduled a West Virginia rally.   More speculation that the West Virginia rally. Is it the site of her exit speech? Tom and Wendy felt that Russert is far more believable. To  check out the Russert comments click play.

**DRUDGE EXCLUSIVE 8:59 am ET**: Senator Clinton has made another multi-million dollar loan to her campaign. She gave $6.4M in the past month and will be giving more... Developing...

 

Hour Four:

Porn Porn Porn Porn!!!!!! Now that I have your attention internet porn has taken on frightening forms. The information superhighway is breeding pedophiles and sluts. Guest Gail Dines of Wheelock College says that the internet has damaged men's view of women. Further that several inmates in the Connecticut prison system who were convicted of raping daughters or stepdaughters perfered women but due to the internet images sexualizing young girls have turned them. Hour One:
What hurt the Catholic Schools?  The sexual misconduct? The evaporating funds? Tom and co-host Warren Tolman tried to figure it out. Both men attended Catholics schools as kids-although Tolman was bounced after four short months. Callers praised the standards and warned of the dangers. Hour Two:
Indiana and North Carolina hold primaries today. Is Obama's Barack against the wall? Will Hillary  keep her momentum gained in Pennsylvania? Tom and Warren welcomed Suffolk University prescient pollster Dave Paleologos in to predict who will win today.

Hour Three:
 What do Stephen King and John Kerry have in common? They both claim that if you don't get an education you'll end up in Iraq. Kerry said his comments were a botched joke , King has yet to make that claim. Will we soon see his books being burned? Tom and Warren both felt that Kerry was truly a botched joke but King was out of line. Callers said that both men are phony elitists who don't understand the excellence of today's soldiers.
