Joe Castiglione 2007 will be Joe C's 25th year as a Red Sox Broadcaster (second longest tenure in club history to Ned Martin's 32 years)..... He came to the Red Sox in 1983 after 2 years of Cleveland Indians TV play-by-play (1979 & 1982)..and one year on Milwaukee Brewers cable-tv (1982) Joe also did TV play-by-play for Cleveland Cavaliers NBA games on cable during the 1981-82 season
Dave O'Brien Dave joined ESPN on a full time basis in 2002, where his duties include play-by-play for Monday Night Baseball, NCAA Basketball, and MLS soccer. This past summer, Dave served as the lead announcer for the World Cup on ABC and ESPN. From 2003 - 2005, Dave also served as a television play-by-play announcer for the New York Mets.
