Kelly nice to see poll which myself now. You still have your card the thing works at the door was. Well yes and no I am a pass ski. I would have a short background we're in the same building the WEEI studios market and there where I worked for almost twenty years are different aren't yet just 120 points the Asians say nineteen years seven months in two weeks didn't seem like to know estimate forty again. And the house card that allows me into the garage that still work to different part. Yes and a pass card that allowed me into the lobby there's and that worked and the McCain the third floor to get into the inner sanctum. And. Well John Dennis. The governor has scored. That was it and hear it in the green depths of them drive yes yes. There's a little difference between John and I already see that's good is that discrimination to I don't know. Is there in Afghanistan for a period we didn't hear it now. Somebody told me they're a still picture in the hallway of their leaders which surprises the heck company what it was like wash from the history books totally Russian history all. Well I got 6172666860. Wanna talk with John of course you do John Dennis is a he's an icon in Boston he arrived in Boston. In 1977. Ladies and gentlemen with a blizzard. That was a big news those two things happening uncertainties and he's being got here a few months before but twenty years on TV sports everyone's watched him. That one timer and other 1997. Teaming up with Gerry Callahan ratings blockbuster ladies and gentlemen very successful run. And it's been more than a year since you've been on the. Yeah thirteen months and I can tell you this my evaluation after thirteen months his retirement is under rated it's even better than I hope for. Better than I imagine what you gotta do it right we'll get into that later but it's it's great essentially played a lot of golf and gender treatments. I head out of sort of wrapped up my media wise business as well I'm a very promising help for the greatest job of all when you retire. I am the Jimmy Fund. Golf and pass that is amazing it is great it is something I've been doing my ambassadorship but I didn't fall the Jimmy Fund since almost day one. Forty years and somebody says oh so you know the summer off you're not working what do you think about this idea. And selectively and about twenty. Different Jimmy Fund golf events and tonight and see them at night live auction and all that stuff so that has taken some time and. Now sitting here with you this morning's Greg wallets are privileged Jon and what you're doing with the Jimmy Fund is amazing you should be commended. You know your. Giving of yourself which is amazing it and we're very we're it's a privilege to have you here obviously and it. I've a lot of Lauren that's what I discovered by working with John Dennis ladies and gentlemen as you know 6172666868. If you wanted to get that last dig in on John and any left the air is that I wish I'd gotten that call and now's the time to do right. But it's today's today you know I I wish. I'm on my first day back after thirteen months in Horry bright and sunny day with you know chords and wrinkles now but based on the news of last night. An early this morning it is not cut dark days two very very big sports stories will be dominating. Your weekend and probably well into next week I'll start with the second 11 and then get onto the open situation. It appears the Cleveland Cavaliers. Have not approved the trade for Isiah Thomas and Tyreke Irving. Here's the term gonna learn sometime this weekend right Emeril. Ass at how popular impeachment with the illegal scare. That is the injury Isiah Thomas had it right and he has not passed his physical. And the Cleveland Cavaliers are racing there having been Danny Danny we think we wanna talk this over again. I'm told that before they avoid this tree and haven't just washed down the drain. There are likely to try to renegotiate with different kinds of value maybe get through Marcus Martin Mayer media. To do something else. When I first heard stressed that it's absolutely stole on the blind. You're saving for years as a as 29 carries when he five. But. He had a hip injury hasn't hip injury and I'm saying to myself if you look at the way I think that Thomas. Plays basketball. He needs to be a 100% that first step and do everything he did it a 100% is 5% off of what he was he doesn't have the value I was surprised the Cleveland well it turns out. He doesn't pass as it is physical they are still re evaluating or evaluating I see it up. And it it may be ultimately voided and this big story last week. Isn't gonna happen at all on the same injury to my left hip or did you not. And it's fine now although I had. Who would question it could go to your left in the past I could. From the hip. That they that it with a robot says they would have a table brand new hip. Three years ago so. I think it's. I think Cleveland would be insane to take the trade I think you can game plan for this this it's a great basketball players the young man. But you can game plan for him it's the same me rotten Rondo at the same way you. If when you get to the playoffs to gonna game plan for him he's going to be the guy all of a sudden. It doesn't happen as we noticed. It's the end of the season. Tennis is that story is bill the more devastating in my estimation is the album's story. At a Shepperd who rarely gets these kinds of things wrong through his sources. Is reporting that element last night and I contacted treatment effect it looked like Wes Welker is injury nothing it. Alan Shepard says he has torn ACL and will likely be out for the year. He's obviously back in Boston today will be an MRI later in Boston today to reevaluated. But based on what Adam Shepperd knows and people he talks to this is the worst case and frankly in the case you Sambo was the most. Valuable player on the patriots the one you cannot afford to lose everybody knows of course that's Palm Pre. And then. When you go to number two. I went to a would be element and Murkowski and I can make it very very good case that element is more important the wrong house he. Just because of the depth and breadth to which he is involved in the office. Grow up you know they want suitable. Place without wrong they know how to do it. It's old. Intrinsically part of what they try to do out there that this is this system now the only good thing and terrorist movement silver lining here if indeed it Tony's deal. Is that happened in the third week so they now have some time to adjust you ever call it was I think 2015. The patriots got off to a ten and oh start. And hurt his foot. In game number eleven. And the offense absolutely no doubt that point Andy lost four of their last six games they beat Kansas City in the playoffs ultimately lost to that. What some Peyton Manning. And the Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game went on to win the Super Bowl but those last six games without element in the 2015 season. Offensively challenged now I think the good news is this is at the beginning of the season. So all adjustments the bill estimate and all the adjustments that that hope you'll have to mate and that common goal will Brandon cooks and Birkhead Louis and James why. Can. Happen. At the beginning of the season and give them some time program. You know I think it Tony fifteen and have cooks who's this the one of the fastest human beings on earth and definitely the fastest. Person in the NFL they didn't have Hogan who's a beast he when he gets near the ball he grabs it. And now windows step to copy the great disapproval. He didn't play much last year the thing I like best about him was. When reporters tried to get them to bid him a little bit this should. You know what you're doing the Super Bowl or cinnamon do anything they ask me to doing anything I can do well. Picture Bill Belichick cancer you know there's one side it's still the case there is one sign. In the New England Patriots locker room you know what it is. Don't let bill Callahan. No block that did this is a quote. From the art of war. I don't know that it loves time off the and a quote is every battle was won before it is fought so you know that's ammonia and if you if you read bill Belichick's five keys to success I believe number. Two years what are you doesn't matter what numbered years. Prepare exhaustively. But it just instantaneously. So that gets applied right now I guarantee you long before you and Iraq you and I arrived in the studio this morning bill and Josh and the entire office of staff. Already figure out how we're going to. I've just instantaneously. To Julian Edelman not being in your this year so this year I think the Chris Hogan if you State's health healthy becomes not a star that that Welker. Ascended through and then elements and it to them that. What they kind of run cooks on a short cut and across the middle come going to empty and enroute and guess what he didn't he didn't gets Paul now I think so right so element has something about him that he loves doing that there's a way that them. You know Welker could get underneath those six foot 8300 pound guys to talk to the ground and then. You get hurt in the open field I've had that kind of injury when I played but it it was a barn but never went so. He did kind of walk under zone away and bury me under his own power so. Maybe there's some. Well I you know I can't bowl I can't even begin to understand how devastated and disappointed he must be I mean you work your butt off all offseason with a couple of down time here so I suppose so rate. And you prepare and on non contact injury and if it didn't look that while conjuring nothing yet. And that is you know what's the has problems and generally they can solve those problems but the one probably NFL has always been unable to solve. Are devastating injuries to star players they can fix labor agreements they can fix you know all the things that may or may now be wrong with the game. Significant figure out deflated football however. The one thing is that when a star player goes down it can change the entire fortune of football team I think the patriots. Are better suited than almost anybody else to as I said prepare exhaustively and it just instantaneously better than others but few match and get up for instance. God forbid that happening Tom Brady that changes everything. Totally changed everything and it's the one thing that the NFL cannot guard against is injury to star contributors like. We've got it you know you're gonna have a defense can do today we. Then. Ambassador Raymond wins coming in Jeff deal will be weapons grade. They were. Just the senate candidate just to replace them or just men. So he'll be just some folks. Are they regular financially. A legacy as would be great. People who work with Johnston. And Greg would Nazis and giving us some hints hints and tips and these are currently. If you remember born free evo line in the and that he also yesterday and teach the odds and it was alliance and they had a teach it to Rome what John's doing that would mean he's actually teaching he's taming and to actually stand in front of the microphone. True anyway sleep but it should as at other things calm. It was ninety and a half almost twenty years of getting a 3:45 in the morning. There was no need to deal with that anymore had a state for the filing your my contract and Google map and it was not a math major currency but he that a little map. I asked for the final thirteen months of my contract that would have been 230. More days of 345 wake up calls. 920. More hours of being in the studio with people who don't like me. And people I don't like it there where is so that's why I'm here there was nobody to deal with the studio toxicity. I was glad to go Kirk and Jerry were glad to see meego prairie room. And so now. And add that essentially in an in a nutshell health and happiness won out over money can afford to retire. I can afford to walk away and so it. We have someone on the board named unknown is that dessert they really don't know what they're. Put the mind. Unknowns an owner either. I don't re yes I. Oh mayor flatness you have to have with you on we have to work with you. He wins I thought it was somebody calling to get their shots and I'm John Dennis ambassador went. A lot agenda and these plus the grade once he they would. I am right here. With all due respect and every Rusty Wallace called you ray I don't know what was the procedure to call you mr. ambassador. Mr. mayor orders OK and John I'm man might now I am active professional BP had to put a big east. Saturday. And that the. When with my grandson Braden is a big fan feel Kelly. Lyrics are well I'm big I'm watching him today yesterday we walk five miles to go around the self and and tuck and everybody down is so we'd love I don't drive so I walk everywhere I go associate. Evan needs to know what's going on and enable it to Boston just give me a call on now I do everybody good interest name. I'm five miles takes you longer than most people you get stopped we'll probably still beats would you say on average and a five mile walk you take with the citizens. But yet there I actually I come to the moon thirteen year. And I was that this was in the Puerto Rican community guidance of Victoria. And the cells then. But you know I used to do now on the got themselves in John. When we built the baseball field yes it would Louis PR tour and they agreed baseball fans down here in the south and you know what bill Kelly outside it would be just. People from the Dominican Republicans. The Caribbean and it. Puerto Rico. I actually John I gave a little speech down in Puerto Rico one time because as Al as the little kids. I just go newspapers said brace fields in. It great field and I used to it's that. He. And I see. This little break he's got an old media for its currency. Roberto Clemente. And that that's who I loved. And so you know we. We just did develop such a great relationship idea this open in the FaceBook community down here you know. They all go after this the much talked to bill but Johnny Denzel Johnny football. The up charges ten bucks a pop per soltys so you think it hurt me I'm thirty Basra April walk committee if you do that. At Princeton boxed himself with you. Yeah not I am in it I've just so grateful that I do remember that it. I had a school analysts the depression if I walk by and they didn't didn't remember the meat that he that god they do. They don't like Graham son Braden more than they know me because. Every time we close the program here at WRK Owens said the money yeah. Bill Kelly always does god bless sprayed with congress so everybody. He's me on the street that says to me. God I Braden how you doing system Brayton got bush to great and so you know very as one of the most popular kids than. In the city of Boston and he's he's like David Ortiz. When we were in New York William and I were walking we went on to try to catch The Today Show I think really I. Discuss this with you before and and were walking by saint Patrick I said. And I think mass is going on your blog would you join a mass at saint Patrick's up. We're in their races that we light a candle on thinking wow this is this is back to the day you know when my nomination to the went for a quarter. And they're real candles of course so we went up to the winters let's play one for brave and so we did. At saint Patrick's. The government here that would in any of your little four feet Camille Little picture of him widening scandal when he just little little candle. So my grandson Brayton. And then so be it I think it worked I think in the work because Braden was good that day. We actually walked by a couple place in places and he didn't. All of that mean to bring mentioned get get them nice screen and sides accuse them Williams scandal worked. We sure will or ambassador Flynn went you know Mary Matalin my daughter she's packing why she's packing my wife's car because she likes driving it better than hers. And she's on her way up to PC today. And he wanted to get some comments about Colin. You know it's an incredible time and there from Boston went all the kids going back to school. All the families in their kids going back to my grandson my oldest grandson. He was packed up yes today and heading to Providence college's is well. It was sad and meaning that you know to see him we have for them left moments humans. You know but it's incredible. You know I did it to look up what it was this week. One I did tour students from the university Massachusetts in Boston. And we get tour you know historic. Freedom trail on. And we we talk about the difference get rid of them and bought into any American revolution. And then I was and I met with a group of about how the students. You know it was amazing to me you know you would think that it is the kids some it would would would be for our kids. In terms of dared not much different than the ticket to Munich Massachusetts. We knew the American history is slow anybody was extraordinary to me and one TD it was from situated. Came up to me and he said to me missed the fallen. You know what what is why is it that Boston gets the non management. In the reputation is being read. In the struggle in the fight. For. Freedom in for liberty you know she's over the bunker now. Yeah. Indeed all the different events got to Indian tribe. Boston torturous right now on be ill. Lexington and Concord. And the whole class was involved in this whole history I mean we had to. We need to perfect it with a professor Johnson. That they but these kids you know the whole history and then I'm trying to explain to bill later I tried to explain syndicate them that. And you know they didn't have any idea I'm sure they'll adapt why else. It you know it goes issue you know how lucky we eat bosses have while these. Of these universities. And I guess we feel that we could kind of teach them about them we will use in the kids but it kept on coming back to. You know the busing crisis and is bought and racist city. And announcing the bill but it's like a lot of cities like a lot of places it has. If she error has a few people that he's known don't get along don't practice. You know that he had that they should be practicing and so forth but you know we have ought to a lot of work to do year in terms of projecting now is the intensive what it really what people the only all about the eighth. We kids that he working out what little African American girl. Will walk and the Freedom Trail in his stroller trailed here were up by the African American Museum. And the hills they would be cute or incredible it was 92 degrees since we opened today in excellent book water. Against the bought office the bottled water to Kathy because we're exhausted walked in net he's. And you know just just so generous and so kind. And these sort of immediately kind of stories and people that we have in Boston and students. That I wish. Well. Not about some mold its stories that the you know some in the media keep on bringing up stories that are really vote. The real. Young students. That's how it's in the book then what's how they get it's how they get ratings in the cultural marxists are trying to give themselves a reason to exist. So that's what we used to toilet paper house is John. And now it's go get a statue it's yank it down and six. So on not mean to say how can we do that deal I mean you know you I don't know that it what are some kind of community that came together. It gave the real image in the real value of young people of Boston not all this negative stuff that we constantly. That demonstration over the at the Boston Common. I mean that got worldwide. Publicity yet now we see all these great kids going off to school parents and mouth I think. You know can't afford the tuition but they felt loans to do with these kids are working. Part time jobs that's the real. As students from the in the young people of this area that's what it's so boat. Well we appreciate your words every Saturday it's great to be be with you and we've enjoyed having you on today has always have again. We we take towards seriously and we're going to be back with you next week I hope you'll be back with us right. Absolutely and guns and and let me out with John Dennis and outside of William Kelly young Williams. John Dillinger London on the true. Look at your local question we go to break if I put the free throw line and I am setting the over under on free throws made out of a hundred. I'll say and you can still make about 94 of them. That's about right. Does the state representative whose name explain well if you probably not too terrified I got a 142. Would roll 142. Via you'd still be important to. It is like gut. Thank you very they're sort of us ambassador. For the period we have we're going to break we have Steve from west for so Steve. How are you doing today. So there on the air stable. And it was you know you've got to plot Steve up in my headsets like and here's Steve always candidate because Steve's wife is talking on the phone also don't pay attention against Davis Steve. Which is your wheel house it's a pretty bleak morning votes. I know. You've had you know career that his legendary him if there's a hall of fame in Boston firm. Media people. Papers media personalities. Because you really did great on both television and radio. And that's sort of prayers that time. Well I mean I'd I'd take a cookie for lasting forty years I think that's appropriate. Legendary but forty years in Boston. And it's and it's odd because when I graduated from school and state university in nineteen so before. I was fortunate enough and blessed enough to land the job in Kansas City who at the time at all four major sports people forget to Kansas City scouts. Are on the team to Kansas City kings where tiny Archibald assembly seat in Scotland and and of course chiefs and patriots so it was a great starting place for me to get my feet wet all four major sports yet. In a city that was very forgiving for all the idiotic things 823. Year old sportscast would say. Alec come to Boston right out of school and nobody. Ever does he could have been disastrous entry yours to cut my teeth. In Kansas City and then came Boston 77 and as you mentioned earlier in the program my first winter in Boston at what was the winter of 78 AK if the blizzard of 78. I look at somebody that's that is it like this every winter here Clinton know this is this is an anomaly. So you know forty years it's coming on quickly. I think was it Red Sox town when he got here it's not a Red Sox still think it's a Red Sox or patriots it was it was a in 7778. It was do so and also halt the Celtics and Celtics and and Red Sox but it is clearly. Patriots town now right now and I think. You don't or are your darker sky here to talk I just thought I just thought he just happened. Between him Enron I think you get three hall of famers on a basket Colton can only when wintry Russia and you have all these you know this cycle Kabul after every game and I'm thinking. And he was trying to figure out Rondo. And he couldn't get you know Rondo to throw a little bit unsolvable puzzle to figure you know robbed at least that it'll figure all of our backward to figure them out right at the end of the bench there that's where you're sitting at an entrance of the season. And then we're gonna have a basketball team happened and when you're ready to join you can vote but I I just thought Doc Rivers did. It brought us a championship but. She was it was like it was like a psychological evaluation every nine that. Every every modern day head coach or baseball manager has to have this psychological aspect to them. Nobody is of Earl Weaver. Williams walk into the clubhouse and turning over the off bay hill screaming at these guys and I and putting the fear of god in them. Bryant our sport I mean it's like a dinosaur apparently. You know when it was only a wage that he was at war with Pomeroy I don't he can't do it and anymore I mean they're a much more money than you war. Right you're gonna get fired long before they get through sent out to. You know and so that's the way this there has to be the sort of wet nurse sociologist. Psychologists baby sitter Aspen right. To begin you know John Ferrell or or Bill Belichick although I checked I think it hasn't done pretty you know. It's 6172666868. Get get online with John Dennis a resume. Especially if you have that last call you wanted to make to him and you never got that opportunity that it you have it now. But what. If they fire the coach everyone says most sudden firing him. It's unjust and off throwing did and if they if they linger on with him like to do with Terry Francona are. So the other coaches owners wanted to make him leave him hanging for so long so. There's no real way to fire coach in Boston that people are going to be happy about I guess. It is the beauty of Boston though it rebellious. No candidacy and everything's fine and you go to other places it's fine. That's the passion play here I mean there's no other place if you do what I did for forty years twenty on TV when he on radio aren't you rather be than here now and if you look at the Halcyon days to steal your expression. It's unbelievable kids your son's age. Have no idea what it was like now to sit their butts on pros and aluminum benches Lauria at the awful Sullivan. Safe shape for stating if you will write and watch rod ross' team or watch Dick MacPherson team. Absolutely stumble and fall and throw up all over there spikes and now they just look at what's going on. Mean I watched that game last night and an up to including did you feel sorry for Detroit did arsenic and such sentiments were watching the first. Quarter and it's 24 nothing. And I think only pass that was where is incomplete with what the wide receiver dropped. It was 24 nothing and talk just like a hot knife through butter and the patriot too just marching up and down the field. Some friends who were arrested. This almost seems unfair as it gets almost seems on New Hampshire the other 31 teams the National Football League look at this and I hated it is unfair. But obviously all that good times and 24 nothing came to a crashing halt when a non contact injury. Takes element down Adams shepherd from ESPN says his sources say torn ACL which will keep him out of the year are up forty years old. He is up in my mind. The second most valuable guy on that team behind Tom Brady I think but Belichick let us. With Amendola stepping up his game I'm not as worried as you buy it it's still a tragedy to see some of the cut down like that for no you know just because he. Despite get caught in the Astroturf looks like if it was on turf it look like that was what was happening. Anyway. I'd it's it's an amazing city in a lot of ways and I think that the ambassador Flynn was saying well we're not giving credit. For what's happening here and now him and I think you know as far as sports go we're ahead of everybody. Oh absolutely. I had a chart and I wish I wish I knew gonna do and pull up and it has the championships are sought over the years yes and it's it's it's. An embarrassment of riches that's expression it is an embarrassment of riches. Well Robert Kraft you've got to give them some credit I'm sure of course I mean he took a heck of a chance during an off from mr. off line I think yes and and made a 179. Million for much too. Margaret is she. And now it's in the billions and I believe the second most valuable franchise in the National Football League behind which sells albums you know it is the fourth. Or third in sports the area all sorts of little soccer teams over there. Man united Italy's number one I think it is it is and I guess we're born we're going to be in these things soccer's ever gonna happen here if you don't know particularly funny talkers the sport of the future and always will think. That's for sure in Boston I can I just can't see the guy I don't know how can I say that that's an affair with Jeff winner is Jeff coming out. With us this time to steal 1005. Final five yeah dealers tell me don't want to miss that and we don't you think you. Agreements talks with Turkey you're you're is it public knowledge and you're helping Jeff it is yes so we can go to your house and have a parents generation that gives him to be forgotten. Jeff. As a background story is a state rep. And from the seventh Plymouth district and he has decided to run against Elizabeth Ward. He's a Republican she is they died in the wool Democrat. And it's the large mountain to climb. But if you investigate and read about Jeff and find out what he stands for he thanks very much like I do music strong fiscal conservative. He's a level headed guy and he wouldn't tell you this but we can ask him about it tunnel although you know now. When the glut. Ends up on Beacon Hill. Back in January we're proposing a pay raise for themselves you're not bad optics you know they have been everything around that don't get politics exactly and it's about what it's about optics. The clintons up on Beacon Hill. The representatives in this in this Henderson you know we need a pay raise and I'm sure we can bamboozled. The voters and they won't care about it. And Jeff was one of the very few who stood up in front of that these via via assembled. Crowd and says this is wrong we should not be doing this in fact not only should we not get a pay raise I think we should take a pay cut to what dollar a year. And of course he got voted down by like nine million to 44 I think it was and 44 people. Had the backbone to realize it was about optics to vote themselves a pay raise and of course the pay raise went through. And to his credit Jeff has donated every dollar of those theories to charity including back on the Jimmy Fund telethon. You the last what was thousand bucks to the Jimmy Fund BC doesn't want that money doesn't think it. It's it's a good thing to do both Jeff feels a great great. Benefit much from them and 61726. X 6868. Let let John Dennis know why you feel let us know anything you need to and questions you might have about the markets things like that sports. It's a great thing in Boston we know. For sure. As follows on the way it's a little crispy last night I thought oh there we go which means football other. And third third quarters wrapping up five weeks ago so it's always important. You keep a watch on your and your finances the third quarter. Generally means. Go away and then come back in the spring to poke in the fall to play itself. We might see some more optics in the market is it too steep but it's now. 6172666868. We have frank from Boston this year after. You wanted to Franco and of course. Frank from Boston guess what you're on the air. What frank. Well think you are you. On the Jimmy Fund that they're connected. Obermeyer writer and they are indeed. Jimmy body is the fund raising arm for the Dana Farber pro recent incidents correct. The problem with that is. They reached a big audience and it it'll. And have a little trouble Islam. It's the Jimmy Fund generally helps kids who have cancer I've read you know the political side and the political side of it is you know can be awful but we can't we. Look we can't. That's a terrible analogy we can't throw up Arabia with a purple purple belt that's awful but you can't. Listen people are trying to do some good and if there's something about them that we don't like we've got to be able accepted. As the fun golf ambassador I'm sort of privy to and get all these bullet points about what the Dana Farber has done and I refer to the technicians. And the research scientist and the doctors and the nurses as the Smart people. In this war and the the infantryman in this war are the people who. Donate to the telethon who play in the golf tournament to provide the money and provide the funding for these kinds of things and if you look at what has been accomplished deal in the last. While forty years is amazing let's just in the last ten or fifteen years in terms of immunotherapy. A targeted therapies cure rates things that word death sentences ten or twelve or fifteen years ago are now nine needed 95%. Curable. And a buffet instead and I knew this was to for your haven't on the Jimmy Fund telephone since the beginning. Sixteen years. That if we were to somehow some way be able to get everybody in New England to walk to the Jimmy Fund clinic. And see the kids going into the therapy rooms. The infusion rooms. And an NNC the parents Ennis and his heart wrenching as it is to see the little ones. Going into the the the therapy rooms. And you fusion rooms. Almost as heartbreaking is to look at the faces of the parents who were sitting on the waiting room they have this blank. Look this blank stare and if you've ever had a chick so sick chuck held you know. What that feeling is it's a feeling of helplessness it's a feeling of if I could take this on instead of my son or my daughter I would do it. And we can get the people knowing that a somehow somewhere walked to the Jimmy Fund clinic and see what goes on there on a daily basis we would need it to a one we wouldn't need to ask. Money right yeah I agree with you John that's we can't. I'm not and if I'm not in a position to criticize Jimmy Fund Japan. I just can't see myself doing it and I know some people have some concerns we appreciate that. We wanna watch picture you can hear them but there's just what a minute of life how much is it worth we have to we have to make a decision about that. And Jim from bill Roca I see her up next so when we put him. Are you doing Jameer on the air. Jim. Jim. I just chip is gone. He just he's complete right what's happening up there America this morning hope you Christian and I mean there's there's. Terms of horizon Obama's maybe I don't know what. We'll tell you what. Thing I've had then it over to Dana Farber for my own care and just to check on some things and they did a great job for me so I've talked to. Well the old cliche as if if you're going to get sick Boston as a place to do it and if you need. Treatment of that ilk that certainly the Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund is a place to do it. Right in and you meet some geniuses and they Italian and you know it's it's all attitude I think I think illness. It's all attitude and soon you run into something like cancer rate been so it. It's it's fear. In here so. We're going to a step away for just a few minutes and John's been very honest and open about his. His life what's going on is like to everyone here knows not thinks so. Is his out of alcoholism took him to rehab in the spring of 2015. So let's talks some. Let's talk about. Who lose sobriety and maybe even. On of his friends named Ryan. What town is right for. And if I may be Sobel I'd like to say that John I'm so glad you're back on the year Selig the world resolved right to quickly and thank did you good morning. Yeah. And Jeff announced do you feel. Do you feel certain about trying to put in a totally out of work. You know of those studies. First of nausea CU I look Saturday where I make. Pancakes are the person who they're thinking that I put their radio it was deals and and dreamed about someday having money that you could help and best right. Well folks are you. I've I we wish you the best at doing that but I tell you you've got you've got to pay him kind of big political mountain to climb just want. First of all why do you wanna do and how we do it and what would result it. Well you know for folks who probably aren't necessarily aware of who camps and things are increasingly I represent three great towns of this are short Massachusetts. And my wife and I own small business in the town of ancient next door. Been in office first avenue is up on Beacon Hill as a state representative and the reason I ran the first time. Was because we had a state representative that wasn't deliberate for the talent that I represent I was on the finance committee in my hometown Whitman. You know and an eagle scout I always thought that some they have or interact by journey during his character thanks. And you know hated having two daughters who loved ballet and he can't think those. Premier League not involved with scouting get back now it was the path as a public service of and they're running last forty years old score ST represented as I can I didn't and that set it up Arab working on some pretty big issues like. Leading the gas tax ballot question we repealed the indexing and that was gonna go ought to do you. He's got to vote yeah that you all voted itself a raise he didn't exactly do and what you're gonna. And on public yeah explain that so actually. Not this every year's cheer every term in two years session. And so we're in the second year or about going to dissect your ever sessions. But at the beginning of the previous session it was an attempt to try to do legislative pay raise I did it. Sitting in the chamber in the month of December because they're trying to do it during what are called informal session PH. Ones. An election happens there's a period of time in the old legislators can wrap up things in new ticket to come and and no formal boats are called for the extreme informal things that are supposed to be not controversial. And what they try to do is introduce legislation to increase their pay and so I set the chamber what are what legislators consider Jaber blocking eating well it usually do that. Is basically that three years ago now unfortunately at the beginning of this session they decided to just go right and ran through. I'll vote on increasing pay raises some cases. Forty to 60% increases and I could ask anybody in the audience out there watching that incredible investor and your money you know as your income gone up. Anywhere near forty to 60% and yet that's realistic is this even though we've had three straight years of cuts. On Beacon Hill estate services. Sector accounts. You're the low ball what are the low levels up their howling against a betting against the movement to. Well you know ethnic aspect ballot question didn't really make me a lot of friends of their because. You know to supermajority of Democrats in the house and senate and of course when they passing tax increase they don't want to be you know embarrassed by having repealed that. We went to the people we edit grassroots team that was out spent 3121. And I took to the Airways to newspaper's editorial board meetings. Trying to spread the message everywhere could. That it was a bad tax because Massachusetts spend four times the national average on road mean it's 675. Thousand dollars per mile per year is what we spend our roads verses a 145000. In other states like New Hampshire still. Before I wanted you know the Beacon Hill to take more quiet people's pockets as it let's tighten up. Our our belts you know start being more responsible with the money that we currently yet. And so at that plus the fact that the tax chemical automatically without workers vote every year really struck home with people and we did a wedding that issue in 2014. We we actually outperformed governor brake about 50000 votes won as governor so. We knew it wouldn't Republican issue organic pretty sure it was just an issue that help people with their pocketbooks because. The gas tax is something that affects not just what you pumping your car but all that good you purchased your property taxes because. A municipalities are exempt for every fire truck every school bus every ambulance or police are. All that money were gone up each year automatically and we were up for adoption that was the two billion dollars savings to people of Massachusetts at least that's with the globally for. Jeff do you have any idea why we spend five or six times on our roads and how we put the cold. Median strips and what and what's 600000. Get us through some clean and beautiful John that's why this and yet let's get a real frustrating part in the celebs of our transportation problems. And even a premium out of work or an opportunity Jersey in costs per hour it's terrible. And so you know there's a lot of things that go into it first of all you know I'm sure a lot of people noticed that construction crews seem to take quite a bit of time on projects. There's there's always an issue. It's something I at a wanna get too into that we that we were purchasing asphalt that's got to be very well you know we. All of the New England states stopped purchasing it but we kept using it and it was probably at an accelerated rate that we be replacing roadways every two to three years instead of every ten years. And so a lot of that added up into the waste. What do you think that senator Warren over shatters so you're you're worried about people driving their roads their budgets and the senator Warren is sort of over in in Geneva with those session on ultra liberal Europeans do you feel. Thank you being too often because she's more fixated by it. But and I don't know where I I don't see her much in the state dear John. Where issues you know. Still that's a great point we started at what say conduct FaceBook page called where's warrant for the campaign. Because she's been out of this state and out of the country more often it seems that she's here. And so I guess is that the word about the roadways are aghast exposures and risks spent too much time here but. You know we have is I think travel state working not just comic aspects valid question but I was involved in a push back on the Olympics were 20/20 four which we size ten. Billion dollar boondoggle and go we were right luckily they didn't come in Massachusetts I'd legislation the flock. And unfortunately shut down by the super majority and he can help but we still persevered and did a ballot question filing which kind of triggered at least there was. That was another in a big win for taxpayers that I get above the presidential election. Last cycle. That's what I really started talking to a lot of people who felt. We're telling me that we have a senior senator and that was that's one. Who seems to be a part time senator a part time offer because she's written two books and officers make one point six million dollars results. Answer seems to me. A part time candidate for president because it's very clear. With all her travel. She's been to Georgia just recently to a liberal convention she's been to Michigan Tennessee. California several times New York's several times to promote these books and seller know make money for itself. She can be a part time. Presidential candidates for 20/20 that seems to be where she's headed and that. He basically overlooking Massachusetts. QB reelected and tweaking so she can think two more years on the road ignoring our state. Are you convinced she's going to run for president because it's it's almost as if she thinks well is this just the old guys like you. Much of an issue for me I'm more concerned about getting into the White House and that's. How she's trying to raise or profiles that fares earth. Slows feels like that and you know that a couple things that are happening. George Soros has paid for a company that against those tracking maybe they hire people to track meets. Look what they want to you know make sure they they get dirt on me as early as possible which. Think we are keeping my original equipment in your ridiculous waste of money but. Seems to be concerned enough at least do that and I will vote this. In the last four years of being an office she's only helps five town hall meetings at the entire time in the state of Massachusetts. Since I've announced. That I was doing exploratory committee and now ranks she is help. Thirteen town hall meetings she added three were scheduled just this week and so we feel like you know the fact that I'm out there as a viable alternative to someone who. Really just seems to be pointing her finger up or someone else is gonna screeching everybody. We think that that is. Signal that she actually worried about this race. You head up Donald. Help fuel or virtue and my guess is Lindsey ward is gonna try to paint you in the image of Donald Trump did you. Well John in met a great question I think is anybody who's running in Massachusetts is being currently tied ultra open means talking about Charlie Baker who didn't vote for. Is it you know not tough enough on Welch but that's what the Democrats you know feeling is going to be here when you say oh message and beyond just this. Russia attend jetted to talk about Russia party's fold flat. But the fact of the matter is you know working with Donald Trump's campaign was really great experience for me because again I met a lot of people that. Hadn't been involved in the political process at all. And they started to become aware what's going on right here in a state of Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren has had your legislation passed the effects or hopes. The state of Massachusetts. And so. You know we found out that in next cycle in primary results from the Massachusetts 20000. Democrat on the rolls to vote for Donald Trump and don't compete and we didn't win the state in the general election got 1080000. Vote. That number is significant because it's more Charlie Baker got when he won for governor. So the fact is Donald Trump has the votes there. And a lot of people may not be talking about you know don't trump or urged. You know vocal in supporting him but there are a lot of people in Massachusetts to feel just like the state of Wisconsin. And Michigan and Pennsylvania there's Rust Belt like our own states and that a lot of people been left behind with companies leaving jobs that are paying an up and there. They're gonna senior senator who would rather. Continues to be obstructionist to the president and try to make our country our stinker against. And you know in order racial profile I mean this is a woman who when Republicans are trying to fix health care. Said that it was. Republicans that were asking for less money from the American people now that you're right at the same time it's congressman Scully had been shot. In what he is doing that practice with based both durable and you know when you talk like that when you try to divide people. You know you went and NAACP dinner few months ago into the law enforcement they continue to terrorize the African American community when you start making rhetoric like that. You know widespread around the country used to pushing people. With you know tendencies like tech shooter to optical or inducements that does not help. Bring our country together that's not a uniter that the divider that someone who basically try to continue to raise your own profile at the expense. A beauty of America and we have to start working together I I don't know if you know. Anybody else is concerned but you know the fact you've got countries that are testing what North Korea or guys you know ships being hit in the ocean. You know what's going on here we need to come together as a country and make sure we're united because we're facing. A lot of countries that either one either economically or China with jobs that left her country. You know or Texas military like Iran who keeps using I think North Korea's proxy. You know and so. I'd rather see Americans working together have congress. You know have a partner like me down there so that I can deliver for Massachusetts and at the same time. Try to provide more unity. To support the president or. You just party lines aside and I don't know what people are telling you when your out on the campaign trail but speaking only for myself not even bill here. I am so god awful sick and tired. Of the need congressional finger pointing and screeching and cacophony. And tonight I'd like to think it think the Democrats Republicans liberals and conservatives are all sick. Of this this malaise that is going on down there as a result the blame game being played and the finger being pointed out it is no you're responsible for that. Not our thing is getting done I mean are you hearing this from the people you talked him. To help people in Massachusetts were struggling a literal states that's. I'll mention Ted Kennedy he would know for the Republican punitive think partisan you've got a liberal lion of the senate. But when elections were over everybody goes to Ted Kennedy would work with a Republican president. Or Republican governor in Massachusetts to deliver for the people here and people who need help let's just I can just. Two let's say the south coast area where the fishing industry. Back. Crippled almost overnight when President Obama declared 5000 square miles. Fishing area off limits as a monument status OK and that is something that our senior senator Elizabeth Warren and the congressional delegations has done nothing to try to reverse. To try to help. Although this issue men and women down in Bedford and a cluster all over the state that could be ya you know using that area to help make sure our fishing industry thrives. We really need a partner at Washington again it's working for Massachusetts that the same time it's not just cause gridlock that we've had for eight years. It is really destructive to our country at all. Well Jeff where can people see you where can they visit with you where you wish your next event. Thank you very much for little or you have a great that I'm right not great so please don't memory serves opened the Harold in the spring your point fifteen. And that was it great interest that they've arrested Barkley. John revealing your battle with. The battle with the bottle you up on him. Your plans to seek treatment. So let's you want to talk about this I think it's great town wanted to go public like that and what's an effective an effective and what did you learn. Well. It happened because. I want to go public with it because. Wind you've been on the year for forty years almost anything you do. You to try to keep quiet is going to get a personal wanted to get ahead of its and that's the recently called Bachmann new book would be. Fair and balanced to steal a phrase and I told my story. And I'll tell you what I told him and that is. Over a glacial. Period of years alcohol begin playing a bigger role in my life than it needed to and when I realized. And this would be a nice pose in the spring of 2015. That alcohol was playing a larger role that really needed to for me. I decided to seek help. And the company was great and we found a great years ago. And figure out what was important what was not. And they teach a lot of wonderful things in in in alcohol rehab and I realized I guess it being assembled what was the moment you know was there any deal why no. Was there a car crash Knoll was buried domestic situation where you got into a fight with your wife for founding member no it was some of those. It was this thank god realization ahead of time before that disaster ever happened that it really was. Picking more rural in my life and I needed it to take and for instance when you start planning. You're drinking around your weekend and you start planning ours and here's who's a great example. Thought it was my poison of choice soul on a Friday night having. Two or three or 45 drinks I would never ever finished the bottle I'd leave. An inch or two in the bottom because I knew in the morning when I would get up I would need a little refresher. To kind of take the edge off and if I'm playing golf playing golf hung over is not. Fun trying to tee up the ball in your hands a little shaking your stomach not feeling good so I'm planning this by leaving a couple of inches in the bottle at night when I went to bed Saturday night or Friday night. What could have won in the morning and not be out so that's that's a realist said this is not good you're you know you're planning portions of your life. Around drinking so. Ari I went to a place called knock it itself toward the middle the state and it's through my planes and it was absolutely. The best thing I've. Could possibly done it is an eye opening experience that tell you a number to give you a number of tools to help you deal with this and and it was revealed to me that there are well that number of different kinds of alcoholics supposed. But by and large you can break them down into people who were chemically dependent on it needed one crave it. Have to battle and every single day. And I think that's difficult and then there would be my kind and that is I don't. Crave it I don't think about it I can go out to dinner with friends and making wine cocktails or beer after golf guys can have some beer I don't want it at all. But if I have one. That Michael wanna run grind and so for me the only battle against the bottle is to pick up that first one I don't want it talked a good friend of mine. A realist and it's sort of well and he has been a recovering alcoholic for twenty years and Rasmussen. How often do you think. About having a drink he said every hour of every day of my life. See that's the other kind of the chemically dependent creeping kind and I think that's a much more difficult. Level of sobriety. When you have that demon raging inside view. I think mine by comparison is pretty. Easy if I you know you'll first in his one is not enough for file I'm sorry once too many thousand is not enough lets me if I want to have eight. And I don't have one I don't want and so that's sort of mighty you know background in terms of how it works for me but they give you a number of tools that give you a number of things to help you. A deal with it and rationalize it and understand where you come from an and a couple things really stuck out in my mind. Mum. You don't hit rock bottom. Until you stop digging. And if you think about it that's true with the exception of you know killing yourself on a car crash you can always do something worse than what you've just done to get you in trouble. And and whether it's you know what do you lie and then it's a crash and then whatever the case may be. You don't hit rock bottom until you stop digging and the other thing is you have to ask yourself the question. Do you wanna give up. Everything you have for just one thing. Or do you wanna give up just one thing. For everything you have I'd like yeah that's a good omen and it really if you like you know your wife and your kids in your health and your money union job and your career. For bogus or you wanna give up boots and keep all those other things intact. So I do get some context. And and it isn't a great music I I still got my energies up and it's been it's been 29 months now. And it's fine and it's great to smartest thing I did the guy who's helped me through this at Mass. General my doctor. Said to me recently. It was only two year anniversary of John I want you when you treat your anniversary to make a list of all the things that are better in you're life. Without booze it was a long long list deal it really was it was a very long list mean everything from an unimportant things like golf. But important things like relationships. It is a long list and and it's tough to get there for a lot of people. And if you're like my friend who battles that every day I understand it's a hell of a lot tougher than than why goes through. But once she realized that boost doesn't need to be the engine that drives your life. You gonna do a lot better not a how much time mean more time we have it was rates much as you want but to give you some sort of context in terms of when I was in their this'll this'll tell you about how. Addiction just really take you out of mainstream society. There were fifteen or sixteen people Ian. The facility when I was there and generally that's about the number so every week tour three leave graduate so to speak in the two or three more come end. And I was there drew wouldn't Diane Sawyer. Did the sit down in her view with Bruce and he was still Bruce Jenner for the first time right and general revealed that he was released. A woman inside and it was going to transition I that was I believe it's April's spring of 2015 that's when I was in Korea. So what the other day that they brought BA people in the game's all our courses are we did. Everybody went to the team your room to sit out and watch. Diane Sawyer interview Brewster Americas was going to be a big thing you know rights were all sitting around and drew what the commercial breaks. There were two women who were all PO eight heroin addicts from Springfield. General that it's at that time the people were alcoholics and five were open your weight which is a huge crisis in the well. And these two women were from Springfield and they were heroin addicts. And we're sitting there are watching Diane Sawyer do this with Bruce and Bruce Jenner. And there's a lot commercial break and somebody brought up the ice bucket challenge and the hail this thing with with Peter freeze. And world talk about that what a cool thing and how much money it is and I swear to god built these two women who were on herald went in and in trouble said what is the ice bucket challenge. Who in the world back in the spring of 2015 had not heard. Yeah ice bucket challenge so that only speaks to you know how far removed you are from society where you get up in the morning and you got methadone clinic. And you get your methadone singer not sick. And then that gets you through the afternoon and then you go score more heroin and the new phase out in you do and rinse and repeat rinse and repeat rinse and repeat. So so there are a lot of people struggling out there. And and you also realize and could put yourself in context in terms of MIA and it's supposed to compare your alcoholism to other people's like oh I never did that or he's worse than I am I'm better than he has. And everybody tells stories about you know what their rock bottom wise and there were two that's about my mine you got young James told the story. That he was on a run on a Saturday night and the first or triples in style Sunday morning. And yet nothing else in the house to drink and he drank the bottle of pure row and sanitize. And if you look on the back of hands sanitized it's 65% alcohol and talking not to compare your alcohol as the pessimist you do you know you never did that. And the guy next to him as a very very good guy and he was. Really passionate about his sobriety set I hate people who say I can top that story but let me tell you how the story of a blip here this. And he was her set of same situation and he was run and it's late at night and now it's you know liquor stores are all closed when your on Iran and you know nothing's gonna stop you. And he went through the cabinets and no wind left in the know. Beer last hurdle booze laughed and he said. Wait for. He drank his wife's entire bottle of nail polish remover Corey. I said. Didn't that kill you said it almost did it almost its social that is the you know the depths of despair. That that people who were addicted to alcohol and in some cases certainly all you poison pills will will go another there was. But what some pain you know for me. You know no no I was just a party guy I enjoyed the bias well I enjoyed the buzz in and it is that well. If that was was good this buzz is going to be better care and I realized that that I was headed for a rock bottom disaster that I did not need. There was never did drop in whenever it right well it was a day at Fenway Park on opening day of 2050. Where. I was asked to sit behind home plate with the referendum district water. And we did the show from Fenway Park from six to ten with Jerry in and Kirk. And I haven't had a drink for a hundred days I would have been trying to stop on my own not in any kind of regimented thing edged when you stop and it stopped for a hundred days. And I helped me so you know John there will be a time might be among my B two months might be three months that you're going to be without a drink. And you're gonna say it is a OK I can have one he said just remember you can't. So was literally a hundred days since I've had my last drink it was opening day at Fenway. It was the first opening day after the horrible horrible winter with snow was above everybody's yes eaves. It was that spring OK so. We were gonna and I was gonna sit district water behind home plate. And we finished the show at 10 o'clock in the film which studios. And I realized it was going to be I think that they would like it to 3 o'clock start because they all these ceremonies and all this other stuff up a close can be what do clocks. A start sort of live a couple hours to kill goodness and all the time Mikhail. So I went to the aren't what it's WEEI. Sweet. And I and I get a Coke out of the refrigerator like what place in outside in the sun is on my face in the bunting is on the walls on the grass is green were done with this winter. And I'm feeling good and makes a phone calls talking to people never personally. And I walked back inside. The WB yeah sweet and some temple that put a bubble of great news on the counter. For sure you know for the socialization is going to happen later in and I said. You know what I'm here nobody's gonna you know it's opening day right after the winter. I'm gonna have one. And I had one and then I had to and then I had three in them I had four minute five. And by the end of the game. I mean impoundment water to an element trouble at this point I'm embarrassed to say that I'd I'd roll home. Probably. Not drunk but certainly under the influence by the time I drove home. And realized it. That could have been my rock bottom moment you know like that a plowed into a for minivan full of six people or anything and realize at that point that. I needed to get some help so I did you know pretty let me just tell you real quick funny story because that there there is some black humor that's involved in rehab. The same guy who drank his wife's nail polish remover tells the story bet that every morning at 10 o'clock he'd say yeah you worsened the food and beverage industry restaurant manager so he works till late 2 o'clock o'clock in the morning comes home sleeps and attend a top 10 o'clock. His routine was at 10 o'clock he would get up in the morning and take his dog he looked in the back page that's an important element here the greenback today. Take his dog for a walk and he had a planned out that he would go two blocks this way. Two blocks that weigh two blocks back in two blocks over for walking the dog and could past three liquor stores. On this path. And he would do it at 10 o'clock and slept in late because he worked late and his wife would you know she was homework not home and just. Pinkie was walking the dog. So so. He's doing this and this is routine and he would stop at least liquor store and grab a couple of nips of vodka. And fire him down he was such a good and valuable and constant customer. The liquor store owners have little dog treats under the desks of the when he commuted on the give the dog Daughtry. 1 morning he wakes up with the worst case of flu you can possibly imagine couldn't even get out of bed here so bad and the white said I'll take the dog for a walk. And she came back about a half an hour later she should use some of bug. Gun he's an. He turned right at every liquor store the dogs. Probably rushed up to go in and get the tree and got busted by his dog being taken for a walk by his wife so. Now sort of the amusing story of the day Andrea. Well at least you know we hear you're looking great sound fantastic. And hear an example to everyone. You know what you can do engines situations like that you can actually put yourself out by the bootstraps right. Mr. producers so put up into crow want OKMR producer. USO. And we'll be back. They discover five keywords bundled for your retirement years in the first it's time to second is trust taxes isn't he worked technology has impact. Terrorism is the worst tee ward of the mall. Are you dealing with a five tees. Dear bill Kelley senior safe money strategies call 88881881. And speak to bill did what matters of bill Kelly he's cute. That's terrific. Portfolio income projections. Year's money strapped. Call bill Kelly 888800. In 1981. Or locally at 781. Being born on him 3090. Really kid who made it nice that I'm not and a faster stronger. You know you. Ladies and gentlemen Andrew crowd our chief investment officer at Kelly financial services and the vice president and a great job you're doing today Andrew yeah it's been a heck of a week or two per account is your top three. I would say what we solve that most important as we get all bigger traits cannot speak out about the bid you know we have urged fifty day moving average offered its support. The market which I think it good indicator and market actually showed up there and it has. You know the market was positive and Q I feel like it's precarious and you know we're seeing some great things happening I mean I feel like a 1% Ers and then 99% on the mall. Complaining but we are concentrating into four or five companies and really there dictating most of the market would you agree. You know the leading index or a larger cap companies are gonna carry more weight in the lady index moves and we've seen a lot of large companies are obviously can't expect earned. X has dropped so. Debate Italy ought to be more overvalued areas market something that I'd be very leery but yet a lot of the market's been eager to buy it expects to get off. Where are we on the fifty day moving average right now into. Now is dependent on trumpets depending on congress and is dependent on tax cuts tax cuts or Big Ten and I think it's dependent on stability of government and I think the fence so we have all of those things mixed into this recipe you think there's any chance that we might spoil the Stew. I think some of those things are Big Ten a lot of political risk is tax cuts people or are you concerned about what they're not that'll happen. Update any administration. And them getting that they care about the big initiative that. I think what it will happen it will help market or edit doubt that he'll do it again probably sell off. There's a lot to consider with the way the market moved so far and I think there's still potential upside in markets so looking strong that have been much rhetoric. In Washington about the Russian investigation there's some other things being addressed. But nonetheless it's probably for the batters and that we get argument in the art direction the country in general. We're with Andrew crowd chief investment officer Kelly financial services what are you hearing from the folks let's say the folks who haven't met with the reform what are their concerns into. A lot of their concerns are in regards to market risk there degenerate but seeing another event like 2008. Obviously a very close attention to imagine your risk on the portfolio we're managing and we keep it active approach of some sort of happened in the market and require a reaction on our end we're paying very close attention to do up. I know what Kelly financial we educate our clients they don't accept losses could well be as the train them not to. And we tried to ameliorate that anytime we can. But in your opinion do we have proper retracement in the market do you think the markets are correct trying now do you think they're slowing down there. I do think the market. Probably a little bit overvalued relative to historic standards I think that there are some justification sit out if you compare. PE ratios are historic average. It's lower demoted and now but at this. The same time. A large part of the economy. It years ago may have been or industrial base runner doesn't have to expect a large earnings. Whereas now we have a lot more the market's going to be a page on health care technology which should meet more of a nation in mourning curtain futures though. There's some justification for hire I Asian or is he in the market right now but it probably still a little bit over. 888801. Anyone if you wanna speaker vendor crowd if you want to have your a statements analyzed if you wanna find them in real expenses in your accounts. If you wanna find out here real risk factor. Andrew crowd is a great person to sit with 88880181. No charge for the initial consultation android just like to ask you about the amount of debt in the market we know it's in the hundreds of billions of dollars do you think it's a little overboard. Margin debt at all time highs that something to pay very close attention to do because the more that margin debt and build up more chance of graduation doubt or any or the domino effect it has a margin calls it. All then that might keep slowing down even further there's a credit tightening so issuances of debt become more expensive it is your rates go up so we've been larger companies and large cap companies in general what is normal up better than. Needed small cap this year which speaks it's been a bike in the performance. But maybe I'll have called the large caps up. Can you come back from one more segment interest. These gentlemen welcome back live John Dennis. Unbelievable job that is simply forgot. There was supposed to president. And no hear him mention somebody named Ryan. Old with the alcohol story. Yeah yeah you know and and I suppose most people are aware the Ryan solo situation. He heaviest paean. If not the USS fault in this clip penalties. A very good at what he does. Or on vacation in Wyoming. Mid week I believe this Tuesday or Wednesday. And a couple called police and so there was someone in their condominium and he was belligerent incoherent. Wrong and as it turns out naked. In their bedroom and hear what you weren't local police came and got him and welcome to jail. And yes enough to deal with what that. Mean is Ryan's career going for I guess is a misdemeanor so from a legal standpoint. You'd be fine and not do any jail time. But from a perception standpoint it's it's certainly embarrassing and could be career devastating depending on how ESPN wants to handle it. And I got to tell you go because of my past history Bryant missed a my fault began buzzing and texting and and and reading about gee you hear about Ryan Roussel. And cliff notes version of our situations. Where yeah yeah a lot of people did and infect a toy found out about it you get X seventeen. Messages saying. Do you believe what happened right and so laden Wyoming. And and we just say this I don't and it's all achieve revenge is best served cold I don't based on my and make it big and ticket. Based on on my battle with alcohol and mighty sobriety them and I'm very proud of I don't really take any pleasure in this and I don't rate. Obviously there's the problem there and get to that. In just a second. Can I ask one thing yes and your bottom was having five cocktails at the Red Sox game yes you think this could possibly your bottom moment for someone. Well that's that's the point that's what he needs to understand is this sure your bottom moment and and I. You know I can tell you he's had a few bottom moments in the last twelve or fourteen years. I first came across him win. And its cost it is. And my daughter he's gonna talk about the senate superiority event was known and I know it was Steve was twelve years ago I think was 2005. Something like that. And he didn't like me. And he thinks I was responsible for. Him losing some job or not getting a job artist news station and had no signal that I guess what it's misty was inconsequential and and and really not very meaningful. But he was highly inebriated at a party that my daughter happened to be yet. And somebody said hey that's John Dennis is daughter over there she was single and and he walked over to Europe and accosted her. And I will not say what it is he threatened to do to her. To get back at me. Round but I'm telling you if you have a daughter you would think that Meyer a slightly inebriated voice message to him that went viral. Was really kind of low key and measured. I would go left him a message I would just on the yeah a lot of easy should've just taken a two by four and up and and found him and I took a lot of heat for it and deservedly so I was drinking at the justice she nothing happened on a Friday night. Scott van pelt who was with him and Scott van pelt pulled him away and that's sort of went twitters and number of people slot and so on and so forth so so. Sophomore junior and senior year and I resented it but I realized he was giving me an object lesson that said. We had a great couple segments was shot especially bounces. Re emergence in the studio who is. It's key card worked through it and I'm I have to be escorted in by three people because they don't trust me but Johnson is still had a speakers that worked. And he's here and he's actually. He's not a good he's better than ever these troops out real artist but. We've got some issues coming up around town right now who'll. But today you know not good enough. You're expression it's too good to be true right I'm watching the patron in last 24 nothing in Brady used just on fire on target the only ball hit the ground want the receiver dropped 24 nothing. She started feeling sorry for the Detroit Lions this is unfair. Throw too good to be true and the I think the same thing applies to the NC Thomas kite Isiah Thomas cutlery Irving tree cavaliers and Celtics while that's too good to be true wells turns out it was too good to be true I usually an element is the big story I guess today. He got injured last night it is solving game it was a non contact injury that look for ever like the Wes Welker injury. A few years ago it was not a blow to the me it was him planting and cutting and the need to sort of buckled. Adam shift from ESPN two. 99%. Of the time get these things correct said his sources tell him. They believe it is a torn AC you know if that's the case he's out for the year I believe it's having an MRI right now. To survey the extent of the damage or what the plan will be going forward he saw a forty tweeted element has. I am going to a fabulously and some drove out solidarity but some sort of drive that he is going to be peace and in an attack this and Tom last night. You could see on Tom's face and our order in the melancholy become like god this weapon has been taken away from me. And and I really think you can make the case that element is the second most valuable guy on this team. Behind Tom Brady obviously Thomas first and foremost in everybody's a distant second but they want Super Bowls without. And element is so important to absolutely every aspect of how this passing game and to a certain extent other running game works. Aaron. That it is going to require a great deal low adjustment by by Bill Belichick a weaker currency. Hogan take elements bought if indeed it's a torn AC is out of the year in rent I would guess that on the betting man and a knowledge that that's what it is shipped sensor problem right. So Hoch is gonna have to jump up a notch and he'll. Rhonda Danny him and he and Danny handles sort of take turns. You need more out of Brendan cook now you need. Birkhead Lewis why all those kinds of guys. But as I told you earlier this assign it still the only sign in the patriot locker room from your divorces every battle was won. Before its spot and one of bill Belichick's five keys to success he has. Prepare exhaustively. And adjust instantaneously. And even as we speak Belichick and his minions are gathering around figuring out what are we going to do how are we going to operate. Who was going to fill the void left by Julian elements injury so that's where we are at this point today. I think though there and there was who was the end of the newcomer who showed up big in the first. First first game of the exhibition season I'd forgotten as they call me. No no the other front the president use of water out he hears catching everything on the sidelines doing great. In Austin Carr and disappear cost court. You know when he's a rookie and I mean he may have an increased chance to make this team still real the sixth or seventh very wide receiver who can catch footballs and what he did that game yeah he was certainly. Impressive that game and then the other like you need more bad news the other is that the Cleveland Cavaliers are having buyer's remorse at this point. Regarding Isiah Thomas. And when I first heard about the trade molested. This is great mind and or a loved Isiah Thomas and deservedly so he played his butt off. You know the death of his sister he was injured often you know the original injury is march 15. And then you re aggravated hip I believe it was game 6 in the Eastern Conference semi finals vs Washington. Played a few more games and then couldn't go any longer they chose in the offseason to do with rest and rehab and treatment and and not surgery. And when I heard carry Irving for Isiah Thomas and noses X involved in the unprotected first round pick from. New Jersey is involved as well I said this is an absolute steal by Danny because you're trading U 29 year old guy. Who has had a significant injury. And who needs to be absolutely a 100% perform like we saw him perform for the Boston Celtics and Cleveland the signing off on this. And they're handing you 25 year old superstar perhaps top two or three offensive guys. In the entire leak. And I actually tweeted out that as it if you're upset about Isiah Thomas being traded that will go away. On in October 17. At halftime of opening night ironically when the Celtics trouble at Cleveland Cavaliers. Wayne you seek high re Irving play if you haven't watched him extensively in the past he is a tremendous talent he'll do things and you'll say. How the human body can do that somebody's capable actually doing this room and as amazing as Isiah Thomas was for his size and all that. He needs the absolute first step quickness he needs to be a 100%. Physically for him to be Isiah Thomas there is no margin for downside injury error for this guy. So when. Asked about the trends that I I think that's a steal for Danny I'm shocked. That the Cleveland Cavaliers are our RY in this wells it turns out they're not they're they are still evaluating Isiah is injured hip today. They're talking about exploiting. The trade. And I'm not exactly sure how that works certainly with great weeping and gnashing of teeth it will be gone he's gonna creep back to the bench and sit and watch yeah amateur in markets and your return to sender I I guess they will try to somehow renegotiate the deal. And the Celtics would have to add some kind of value to whatever that would be another player probably another draft choice whatever the case may be fair. But they really needed a point guard. To be the wing man for what brawn. Just like the Celtics need to point guard tackle rising as boss so I'm I'm not sure that it can be saved but they're they're likely to renegotiate this thing. Before they voided but let's just look at worst case scenario. If indeed it's voided and Kyra we stays with Cleveland he'll be unhappy. And I as it comes back to Boston how awkward is that. Right I mean the team that traded me it's that we prefer this guy and that overview. Now has to take you back and you're damaged goods this is those that it's not bad Saturday morning in Boston bill. Well I think the other that the Celtics to me I mean the Celtics. Had a three hall of famers on the team they could have. First of vote could coach a better coach than doc would've been extended their playing together by about two years. I think they abused Kevin Garnett I mean they ran the sky into the ground. And and he was always game for a one to do it. And Rajon Rondo they couldn't just say OK you throw the ball to rank for you throw the ball to Kevin that's all you need to do right now because you don't have a middle jumper. You can't shoot an open space to get into the playoffs. Everybody drops off you and the double team the the double team Kevin Garnett who appears. And then in and basically do whatever you wanted to. It's been ten years since Kevin Garnett Ray Allen arrived. In ten years and 2007. And think about the the lay of the land for Danny I've been critical about Danny we need a center you need to shooting guard unit we need to start yesterday three stars of seat in the epicenter though well. Horford went to incorporate the twenties million dollar a year guy and he and his. I know his numbers are are acceptable and their quiet me doesn't strike you he's not Hakeem Olajuwon he's he's he's none of that promise. I was for the guy from Europe guy from wherever Latvia I think that this guy with the crazy name. The seven foot guy he's going to be that. Right now and is not now no but think about 2007. And and I've been critical of any of of amassing all these assets. And wick famously said well there's going to be some fireworks and haven't been any firearms but I come around on Danny because he pulled his trade off which now sadly may be voided. But think about the impetus. Of the environment in which he was working when he pulled off this Isiah Thomas. For hiring Irving trade verses ten years before that bill in 2007 when he brought Ray Allen and KG in. They are coming off the year 2006. Into 2007. When he brings Allen and Garnett Ian. 24. Wins I mean it was abysmal votes almost anything you would do. Would seem like an improvement so last year that make it to the Eastern Conference finals after 53 wins and he pulls off the blockbuster trade. With with the Cleveland Cavaliers or so weak spot. So it in its speaks to Denny finally realizing I have all these assets aligned ducks in a row now I can trade the unprotected first round pick from. New Jersey to Cleveland pick Kyrie Irving's say four years of age from 29 to 2429. To 25 I should say. And and you by the way have one of the youngest teams in the NBA which is now built for sustained excellence but this has been a clear with what are they doing don't have a clue what they're great until this thing it's aborted attempt tennis players. At age 25. Or under think about this Jalen brown last years you know rising star derby in his second year he's twenty apparent and the new directories Jason Tatum who turned a lot of heads is nineteen of the two j.'s Jason and Jalen. 25 years of age or below and Horford the old man at thirty so this is eighteen. Built for sustained excellence but now Cleveland says. I don't think so what we bought is broken return to sender that this. When we have the center who can block a shot from LeBron James and that would only be Bill Russell Bill Russell said he would do it. Even now city could do it when that happens Alison is the Celtics again right now. It's like. You know he did a deal he threw something at the after everything in the draft didn't really work out that while for him. And he threw something up against the yen the the lakers beat him out again in the draft they keep doing it I don't know. But that's where we stand. And we'll get. We've got Greg Mario on the line right after the at least over its talk about young Q when you are gonna read payment. And Jonathan it was interview they could be trying to get it to hear that thing down over there at Harvard but anyway we'll be right community. Bring Greg Martin from Kelly financial. So Acura line Greg are you doing. I am doing fantastic or you didn't get it there well we're live Greg it's always exciting and so is little different from our lives isn't it. Absolutely this outburst from what your life so and you're the compliance officers so. If there's anything people really wanna know about on a Saturday morning right there waking up just having breakfast after a of native and injuries to our athletes and opining by John Dennis and me it's compliance Greg what the heck is compliance. Oh compliant to the penthouse. On eight he keeps their client information say. It's really something that we need more of an art world hate to say that but it really is something we need more. And I always say that when the four people commitment that briefcases too Greg could take over our conference from our. Those that's what I keep telling myself we need more of this it's going to be it's for the clients but actually it does help us to. Continuing the business and I think that's great and we can still you know having the radio show. It's a little bit more of problematic for the SEC either have to monitor the show once in awhile they have to find out what we're doing. I think we've been treated fairly I think it's that the public would be happy to know. And what goes on with these Securities and Exchange Commission when an audit now. I already feel about that great Mars. I couldn't anymore I mean we're talking about this the other week as well and when it comes down to is the SEC is there for protection of the consumer. They come into their clients are sorry they come into. Investment advisor offices. That I was given to be Jesus and you're right first of all he's. They take over the entire offensive there. And but that's not a bad known. In the fight to go. They spend hours questioning everybody in the office cooler about what the people are actually doing. In order to make sure that they're complying with the rules set forth by the SEC. It's not bad it's a fantastic. I mean the only problem I see with this as of right now you know happened people who go around and examine all of the offices there. Ladies and gentlemen if you invest and you wondering about the SEC may be the people. Certain government agencies just sit around and make paper airplanes and throw them more than call in sick. When do when whenever we see them they're working their earnest this serious and basically. If you're in the business there is think I'm gonna get away with something I'm going to get away with this oversight. It's it's very. Is it very unlikely that that it will happen in this new environment and at least from the Boston offices. They're tough but I think their fair but the very tough thing correct except. I grew a 100% say they're not out there to. We get people that are out there to make sure that you're doing the job properly run and you're not doing the job properly you need to get caught. Or you need to change that. Right and we you know look we do things differently we're very. Transparent to our clients where their clients and total transparency is important for us because we think. They deserve it and they can we can educate. And help people to learn what's happening within their accounts. And you know we spent a lot of money on the media I'd like the radio show but it's a challenge for compliance and and we're. We're very pleased to follow the rules and these squares when it comes to compliance but what's on people's minds. Right now Greg when you're meeting with them. Maybe fruit on a continuing basis or maybe for the first time what. What are you seeing we're hearing. The most recent thing I've been here in the market high. We hit another record high in the Dow Jones Industrial Average which of course is scary. Because when we hit all time highs what usually comes after markets are they appreciate left alone keynote the last couple weeks. So is this trend going to continue down or into was saying is that gonna bounce up but if he continues back up. Well we're in a note right now. The thing that we do is our own research so we're not waiting for someone else it's also the winds blowing that Waco you know we're already waiting for that itself. I think that's important grant and I appreciate you being on today what are your plans for the weekend. I am gonna go celebrate my cousins Bert they've been playing now board games with them. Because what's your favorite what's your Dick which your. Sweet spot for the four games great. It's a problem I don't know how to play any of them I could go and have a good time. We're doing bull shot it's a card game. So if you like really getting excited return there thought I could do playing cards it's it's a great choice for. Great note to clients love Ulanova folks levee went on the show I know my wife. Thinks the world view when she actually did your. Appointment interview many many years ago which lasted several hours right. Yes sir show up early and get out late. Or god bless thanks for coming on the show it and we will talk to since. Thank you sort of Craig mare folks. And we're back with John Street and to break we have John Dennis in the studio. It's unnecessary because we're gonna have a vote on what's. We're gonna have to renamed the Charles River I think Jon poll which we in the renaming game now. You're king Charles I think he was big in the slave thing it was a yes so that'll looking Charles history but that's got to go on deaf when he medal and I'm not knowing you know April fluent for proliferated the movement. Of slaves so. Can we tear down what do we drain the trouser auditors have to via okay now the. That and you know trump alluded to this about seven or eight days ago and and you know what the snowflakes are wanting it to come to fruition. Are you aware that George Washington was an active slave owner. For 56. Years okay George Washington when he dies I think it was 1799. I was the young guys aren't. And I suppose if you have lived it like the poor people and the parents of sandy hook. Those kinds of things aside. Nothing is ever as big as it seems I'm in the whole world was OJ. In Orlando at the pulse nightclub and killed 49 people and wounded 53 Obama team we don't remembers Nate and and rightfully so we members aren't shouldn't even say his name. You Justine Damon this. Johnny Damon's or enough votes felt different DAM Ol and was up in arms about when the Minneapolis cop for some reason unknown sharper. When you walked out of her condominium. Cruiser pulled up in Minneapolis I think it was. Almost a month ago what happened to that what happened at that cop where's the outrage about Justine Damon's. Death death by cop. In Minneapolis weren't allowed we've moved on we've moved on statutes to tear down here. While we do read our America appears to its generic it's taken down to analog for everybody but strikes me. People that would do what's what's retirement life like actually playing golf on the Jimmy Fund golf ambassador the plan is part where should tell you this. For me to. Be a lecturer at Florida Gulf Coast universities that. Is that gone Florida through negotiations Don would know we're we're talking about it and actually meet with the guy and a career advisor. Here's how hard our candidate bill I'm gonna I'm that a hopefully teach a couple of communication. Classes at Florida gulf coast university for sports fans Florida gulf Gulf Coast was don't city. Number that made the run into I believe it was the sweet sixteen for a number of years ago. And their nickname was dunk city what they are right nearby where I live in Florida. And I've talked to the communications had a communication department to meet with him next week. And I'm gonna let professor dean to elect that professor. But it also provides a a really relaxed. Perspective. On everything. I mean really does conjure in no hurry and unless it's you know something to affect your life for your family you look at these things and say. Good observation I had. Why is everybody. He owed about something that is the culture. Of our country bill everybody is angry about something and it's not always good punchline to the joke is anything okay. Is anything okay in this country and and it's it's like will if if if that problem gets all the upon something. If you tell a waitress while beautiful hairdo of Q and tone and it's gonna division right now seniors see ya gonna go on FaceBook you know that people go from here announce. Until the waitress she was pretty you know some access to something but anyway his opponent waiting for. And while we want to this one up there will try to listen as can work. Eric from Dan is this which Erica is assert the football players this Eric from Denver. Some Rica and number what happened is. Eric from Denver waited six men suggested we should put. Let's take anymore attempt to take anymore calls until we know we can take some calls if you guys that okay if you're doing this to to John. Just try to get back just packets on at his home like usually votes he was a giant rat hung off of appalled that you can you tell. Call him in this two on our commitment. What are some it. Does say so I was I was saying before we decided to. Unfulfilled call via. The point of these rallies and these marches and these protests has any one bill. In the history of protests or rallies were these violent confrontations that we've seen in Charlottesville. And is pushing and shoving. Idiocy that we saw in Boston last Saturday you know has anyone ever been punched in the face. Drench with a bottle of Europe or smacked with a fist. By the opposition and said. I'm not a two bit wary. I agree with you I'm changing my point of view because you don't you're not me or you punch me in the face or you swore and flipped me the bird and I come. Come around your way of thinking they. List to change anybody's opinion you'd think that way he thinks that way. None if you have to stick with the males and then they're gonna toughness all my element you know coroner says let's go to the let's go to the blue bars matter billion coming message that's where I'm supposed to announce that yet on a Saturday. Source and what about safety system at thirteen under cops common ailments and I'll. And races can be Jim that's a great so. I drive you know drive in the city are you to stay house and look at the stats is tomorrow people who gathering thousands of I get up to the steps in ice it. It's a bounce in and next to come and look around at the masses and ago. With Jeff my group said. It's fox was cited as the ability. I think the bosses ultimately can never be promoted and work Saturdays for ever. Or they be fired whichever it's none of that yeah he said but it is a sixteen year I've you know gone recurrence and caught his guts. But so does your security went from 800 to one seed Bogle guy. That. But it. Also. A there in the sixties and it was crazy well you can state. Yeah I was there the year after the Ford dead. In Ohio and I saw. But there was on the first and second and third year anniversary may fourth 1970 there were disturbances at their worst tear gas and there were rubber bullet lady or kill anybody. In in nineteen with a loop. It will reduce. Its. 2005. Brian may fourth yet may fourth 2000 untoward may fourth 1970. 1974. Point graduate and Wednesday anyway I was the first freshman class after the killed four Q is it can statement urged a real happy. About sending me to Kent State. But we decided to drive cross country that year we flew to San Francisco and saved all my money from counting. And my family we had to pay their own airfares sermon at a job so that we would drive back so we driving back in this. I sister. Ends. We stop in Chicago and that's what's going on. Do 1968. We're right yeah highlights of it right in the park or did a mandate in the people that you call and key foreign practice they call them your peace and yet the agency's deputy beats yuppies and it's like it's like turned upside you these guys had jeeps with wire. They pipes and on the front of the treatments they had chicken wire. Barb or Auroio. On the front page if they aren't all through. The hippies we get out the clubs and just beat. He's a piece that you were watching it they've these blue helmets. And that was mayor Daley's death I guess of the daily tradition and everything exchange now those people are good. You know on Mon jeeps and if you beat up the trump cards right I guess so I guess that's the way it goes. So it's there's a lot of things going on and then I have no idea very hard when you're a teenager today when you wouldn't thanking. Well. Idol. I I have two grandkids of seven lives. And beyond the things of what college is going to cost when they get to be eighteen or nineteen. Is what kind of things will be. Societal norms. Were daily occurrence. Of you know when they have a driver's license when they are out of the house when they have. Their own decisions to make. And you know you mentioned yawkey way situation people jumping all over this and and you know just doesn't make any sense. Here's what I think they're failing to grasp the ones who were baying at the moon and saying Robert. You les statute passed it down and then of course this idiotic. Knee jerk reaction by ESPN. Right they take. And I'm Asian broadcaster named Robert Lee. Off of a 40 yeah. Billups and a couple of weeks to test it at at at Charlottesville because they think they're going to offend somebody by this guys I mean they're we've lost our ever loving mind but they don't look at the man's picture of integrity and I didn't know everybody's just affect somebody's gonna get upset that the people. Pastor from ESPN and that is named Robert let me while I mean that is that is. It's Saturday Night Live skit on William material it is so outrageously stupid. But think about this what I think what they're losing sight. I'm sorry wanna rent earlier in golf history is not always pretty in fact in many many cases it's not pretty at all. But changing it or pull the statue down. Or melting statue doesn't change. Whoever Robert. Grasping a teaching moment here what it not make much more sense. Rather than to yank Downey published Jefferson statue because he was a slave owner. Where Robert he righty statue because he was a racist or yawkey way because Tom yawkey was a racist. Rather than pull down and to dole or don't but look at that don't look over that warehouse we'll statues are. How well. We learn from it and we use it as a teaching moment and so that your kids and Mikey is in my grandsons. Understand that Thomas Jefferson was this this and this but he also owned slaves and Robert. Saying that Tom yawkey was a racist. Because he was but I also have no problem saying John Henry is a pandering. Opposing blue book quarter doing this okay now. What what what does it accomplish. If you want to have the discussion of who taught me up he was or prove any of these individuals work that lets have that discussion and educate people who do not know. And that's about a hundred Tony related to our. Cutler to discount you still being pandering or city is building right so we don't want to do we get these on the independent country and he got another club. Diesel mechanic please don't recently breaker an he's an hour studio. He's gonna do that due to heavy lifting for us seemed to do that we have John Dennis. We can say anything it's hard but. About this note to implement more governments can grab my. All I'm. Remote history has changed obviously societal values have changed what was right and okay. Van isn't any more and you can you can look at a million things at us women's you know when I first talked about women having the right to vote you kidding me. Now you would oppose that your you're dead in the water. Mixed marriages. Back when you're drawing up in the fifties and Clinton seventies. You'd see a mixed marriage couple walking down the street and really open your parents apparently what did you do with him what's he doing with her I don't think that's all changed gay marriage more recently and I've used the example in the past even something as. Small compared to these things. And smoking. Right you watched the program mad men and their smoking cigarettes in the got a Scotch in their hand and they looked very cool and the cool kids smoke cigarettes. The idiot smokes cigarettes while you know so so my point societal values change. And and why not. You mostly deep ball that's a veteran word career and Israel work the other went to a halt correct and and and what I think these people are doing who wanted to take down the statues. And and and punish the name the legacy of yawkey Port Jefferson or leave. They are applying 2017. Values where we think. Two people who lived in the eighteenth and nineteenth century right I mean do you think George Washington. Or any of the slave owners back in the day. We're being criticized Obama listens and obviously the slaves didn't think was a great idea right but that was you know worm back that George Washington and his ilk George Washington and his peers own slaves the rich white land owners owned slaves slaves it was nothing to it was normal it was off that it was it was awful now. But but the people who want. Washington statue taken out and all the statues down on patrol river county and it's Trevor and 2017. Values the way life was and it was much different. Back in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries that's all. Others are running gas thousand people lives I've there's a rumor there's several thousand people going to demonstrate at the Charles what is that big event they have. And the found all the Charles regatta there are trying to shut that down are you kidding it's and I've heard it's a rumor pull a George joking when you said the Charles River because of Nadal because is not a joke I'm I don't know answers you can get a hotel and then so why not Robert Lee from ESP NB and pull off the broadcast was jailed for about. Half an hour it's true when I mean it's so we're. We're gonna show we're gonna drain the rivers the swamps I guess fronts as drain the swamp and then we're gonna during the river. My god but to why were and I have no clue and a group with this this. This is an interesting time. And for you to sort of reintroduce yourself to the media and the folks in Boston who. I've known and loved you for years and known some of known and despise you frontiers are. So they know your name permanently that's it's great but. But you you'd do it's it's outrageous things Internet and Africa and it went out there. Aside from the guys at the Super Bowl did you. People generally accept that you're referring to south Salem area on over border. Look there are there are a couple occasions but but the worst you can be on sports talk radio in Boston. Is a fence straddling. Through. You know maybe it is Switzerland right you can't beat Switzerland you can't be neutral in this discussion I don't know whether they should keep Rob Lowe or trade drop below. Whether it corrupt. Yeah I think he's gonna keep Iraq. Ultimately coming to say is don't we go to break Tom Brady notes for. All of his greatness right and for all of his decision. Making capabilities. Now did the most. Implicitly. Idiotic. Stupid thing he has ever done in his life. By allowing his face to be on the cover of Madden. 2070. It's you you you know the leave jinx kind of thing everybody is on the cover but generally it's his swagger thing in the NFL I don't care I don't first obviously the money doesn't have the swagger there at an interview solace spot promoting it. He has a lateral that Watson I think you break some new year but it wasn't let's eat it and I think he has an encounter with a black hat right and he holds up you know the video game command says this doesn't scare us and I'm not superstitious I'm not only are on the side -- sidewalk and step on the crack I don't care about black cast. Why do you want to push the secure top rationing of the most superstitious you are in Europe on my iPod I think it's idiotic that he did this. To what top I mean. Just maybe if there's like 1% possibility the superstition. Of the Madden two K thing you know is true you know stop it. How. Welcome back routed. To and from that please on the attitude that in the way managers and business. Ultimate weather McGregor we talk about okay right after we get back from that and then. You know refused to even talk with Stan but that I'm where I've this couple of things I wanna mention so and see if McGregor. Mayweather is few pars are entitled to that. Do you have how hard. Thank you grab on its Achille financial it's a DN Christians and from there you from Pittsburgh and urges a fan of Pittsburgh. Yes sir I'm born and raised in Pittsburgh John Dennis did you know John that's before coming here it is just it's betrayal of influence and affect you don't know about jobs or big Pittsburgh guy. I did not go have to get here from armored and slots. Or about being back in the Burke did you know look you die you'll on this fault line that would understand the phrase you better read up your room. Yeah you better get the sweeper out as well and get to be proud as well you don't have the roommates at the Pittsburgh it's Tennessee this Burkle localism. I know it now because you told me user on the end and he knew what I did Julia give him calling people from Pittsburgh they'll read up the remains is not only I thought I was pulling something harmonies of the and I do and I had to rent a room and adequately test you write that note that the room at the solo mode then went to sea for where you aware of it's a Christian university. Yes we've the soreness recruited everyone from there because I was invited to speak there. Several years ago and I did not rule on the university of the president. Other game and beat down there and for since then we've fired 56 individuals from there. Frances Frances and they're doing well but. Did you have questions for John Dennis. Not looking at program from the period. A lot of says. You know the back and forth about the Tom Brady did it well no look I think there's any that the earn their. Everything's gone their businesses here are you know and two record you're nervous yes sir we're moving forward and we're chargers lost our. Which aired for crushing and fourth quarter of will be our biggest whenever I predict for not for market gains were not talk about the market but our. I think gonna sweet spot with we're going to be employment. Going to be at Salem New Hampshire we're going to be in Newton and we're going to be in Burlington so we have a wide swath of the state to cover write down. If there were all over the place now and I think if you get where we. Attract people from all over eastern perhaps even yes southern amateur in NORTHERN IRELAND now self. You know we can't say anything more power brokers this cardinal. Oh I know people react well to new because I witnessed it firsthand ladies in general we have the most incredible staff of people. You you could hear them on the radio each week. And they're incredible we're doing our own research to have I think that sets us apart when I'm waiting for someone tell us which way the wind's blowing where. Actually. Wanna be out ahead of that right. Exactly are you talk about it all the time whenever he read articles in the Wall Street Journal order from money magazine does. Articles where they stop for information that was really you know 23 months ago so what you're really doing is is backing up the people that made investments you know weeks in advance. Oh sure we're just offered them because now but dim view. You interned at two other financial. Big name institutions will say and then you decided to come with us accounted financial thinking Andrew. Recommended it to you're Logan but what did you find different here and walk what do you finding out now that you're in the business. I'm doing appointments and working with folks and helping them. When you find different when you find you better what do we need to improve on that. I I think what our motto is really their that the net trying to aggravated me about circuit previously artwork visit to see more of a sales job and monitored by the job. On this it just didn't seem like saying. At that fiduciary responsibilities that you know we also tear Achilles financial work our main objective is to do whatever we can't help the person not just. You know wanna pockets. Sure and and we're proud to have you ladies and gentlemen if you ever need to sit within its. It's 888818. If you want that that's the number. And so it's a good thing to do it in it's great having you on the show it's great having you. A daily in our offices. And we have a lot I'm pleased Jim I believe in the depth. Of talent that we have in California at W meeting these men and women. Each week. And I worked very hard to Keller financial because if I tell my wife Kelly we'll get a real trouble teller so it's I'm covered on all. All fronts lays its elements so Tim thanks for being an issue. It did before we let you go do you think we should quiz built and see if he knows what chip Tammy is. For the you knew you were Leo we have a government different reporters about Kurt Kurt you. The other bit old to go in talk here with a gun ban they'll remember it yeah very hard excellent okay all right now we get now guess what my god they're talking again. You're well thank you for every out. Cover less thick here ladies and Joan we here with John Dennis in the studio. And so much to talk about one thing that irks me. Is. The of the globe especially likes he wants us to Alex Guerrero TB twelve. And when he's they've they've they've got and I guess. I just it was a two it was a trump had. In Britain along famously Sharia before the election and all of a sudden they had to change their home view announced Guerrero and then. All of a sudden there's an attack out there of. And what he argues adjusting that that pointing out the shady past of Tom Brady's trainer Alex Guerrero. Was in some way shape or form related to Tom having you read make America great again pat in directly. Yeah there really aren't sure of our fight I did not associate those are whatsoever. Yet it is the globe used the same photo the globe had written glowing article about Alex. It was a big spread. And then it was in the Sunday globe and then after. Six months four and a half months later after the seventh hat in the locker right. Of essence of the old is a bad thing Alex did back when and now. He announced in the industry forum. Now. That the use this arose from the from the beautiful thing they said about that could at least take a different photos but anyway. With. You just. It just air about your past couple of things that we. It's mostly software company in 1987. I'm black front of black Monday. We've all had failures. But where do we when do we when do we get. You know Bill Clinton gets a paths. He's OK you know. What does he do wrong but that's right and it what it billed as well I would say this I believe me. I understand that there is blow back on people. Who support Donald Trump tremendously absolutely and it just say the name trump you know there's a large percentage of population roll their eyes and just go. Apoplectic Gloria you know all about drop but I would suggest in this particular case I think perhaps more information came that the globe. About Alex and when is why and is well I don't know why or how they got her how was uncovered maybe they say it will double why would you see eight hat. In Tom Brady's locker and say let's go after Tom Brady's trainer of hard they try I think what happened to me I think what happened your appeal is information came. To the Boston Globe or or so much and we talked about it on WEEI at length that this guy sold. What was billed to be cancer treating. Few hours with green vegetable. You know stood at all. And and and. Ruse on a number of people back in the day now whether you wanna forgive him for that is certainly up to you. But I I I think it's a stretch to say oh because Tom. Petty. Trump pat. In his locker. We're going after Alex Guerrero I don't buy that I think I think I think information in the Ottawa Guerrero was interesting enough because he was connected to Tom Brady let's go after this guy. The they didn't go after mister Kraft. They don't know if you don't know they wouldn't know now they get the statement well I'd love interest in that area they went with him. And he has been Super Bowl ring. And when when it goes to report on him right and we saw the photograph of of Robert Kraft getting on. It was stroke play not Air Force One and force one with truck with the reporters goes around he'd been taken but you're right Tom Tom. Pump belt some heat because of the Red Hat in the locker. Right and that's the price you pay for it but wait it's freedom of speech freedom of expression Obama's Islamic Jewish pressure so the way I think yes as long as you speak the way I speak appeal. He speaks some other way and that's a free. Well I can tell you from personal experience. My life. Was I don't know life threatening illness and the first person like close out. Light and that's what I did everything sent to the tee by all look just like genius and a guru. I'd by all accounts I would trust in my life and life from my family members my son. And wife. Edgy time which you buy green. I would buy anything he's going to Mila told me to do. He's taken me aside please call me at night mental night to make sure I was OK and he's prayed for me. And he's a genius if anyone doesn't think user well I think that if he's made a mistake. And news for you I did too many time he's in now exerted Christ turned my back now. And I decided to my face face front to cries again even you know hold against me. Sophie can forgive we can forgive but it's just that keep pulling this is quiver out of the things arrow in the quiver Kosovo and shooting it off. Because he's hoping gronkowski now on its opening. Two on these people are gonna they're going notice a big difference in their lives. I think I predict. My guess is he's gonna have his hands a settlement at some point. Andelman going to you know I I don't say anything you know I CO there ago but it I think you're right do you think it'll work out fine eventually. But I'd I'd do is he won't ever farm back so it is it's easy to attack someone who won't. Who won't won't respond any won't respond and a and he doesn't certainly doesn't need me to respondent. But I don't respond and in my daughter's medical them moments of my life. Texted him I'm like well I can't text of could hear all of you know is not what if Kelly can text and links to his apartment got a crush from Iowa and so there would echo. Let the coast of congressman. Norm in the car with my son I'm going on Iran let's say it but let that go or acquaintances. That you can't to have like Connor so don't do it and let it so anyway. Let you know it's something that's helped me. Like Tyco I got some some step I distanced. So the stuff about them there and answer column should focus with only. We got to be right wing with the two of them on here if we're not the audience calls up two correctness and something happened when this. Get ready for surgery standing yeah. And I was worried particularly to fly again and I thought to myself that surgery on her part. And I call that mr. Clinton. It appears. Absurd and just. You know things. But it would do Billy goes ability. I don't let's do the apostles Cree. Actor actress actresses. Account which doom. Tuesday where our cars is so on the phone with the ambassador. To the apostles creed and active contrition and yet the prayer because really. My friends. You know that the the cardinal is my friend to retool he's right down the street you conceive of from the hotel. It's about corporate development and security the total please this is OK you don't get on the train and out of you call me any time. OK so the guy is a Democrat. What was supposed to say John right. I think you judge people the way they treat you pass right now what other people said there'll about and that's all right Jeff and that's our attention and John Dennis it's great. Spent time with you haven't you in its most important that we have some fun. And you're teaching me. In your own kind way that we talk about Mayweather and them are out here. The farce in the wooded the farce in the bars I don't know we just in the desert and don't go ahead. This is my prediction for this fight and which the whole world was talking about. This will last as long as Floyd Mayweather decides it will last. Caught McGregor sold his soul for the twenty pieces of silver. When he signed the contract that said boxing rules only. I will not buy this fight tonight because Mayweather is a need domestic abuser and it would dime in his pocket. He is a wife beater and he's been any plea of guilty he's been in jail term so he is on my real bad list that is but just ensure our terms of evaluating this thing. McGregor is so far out of his class in terms of boxing. Floyd is a is a defensive specialist I don't think McGregor will land a significant punch on this guy a break and ribs and it will have an equal annual and when Floyd says I think the people got their money's worth they won't be mad at me if I knock him out now he could knock him out of the first round I think he'll carry into the fourth the fifth and then oils and not enough just nonsense we are gone and we are you. Yes. I think that I think McGregor is going to bring. His ribs he's got a little pill does not allow them that's so well is saying you were. If if we survive if they don't if they don't if you keep card still works next week. Will be able to bring you deserves. Respect greatly on Dennis job. What you think behind in my content it was a quick three hours on one's a quick three hours with the it was a slow first 45 minute thanks for the bite I think.
