This is the financial exchange with the very Armstrong and chunks of you're exclusive look at business and financial news affecting your day you're simply your world. Stay informed and up today about economic and market trends plus get breaking business news every day. And now the financial exchange with the Barry Armstrong and chuck Exxon. You're not going to have a strong housing market without a strong economy and vice Versa. Pretty tough to have a strong economy your housing markets not do very well. US home building fell to a one year low in the month of September as hurricane Harvey and Burma. Disrupted the construction of single family homes in the south suggesting. That housing probably remained a drag on economic growth during the third quarter of 2070 hi everybody it's very and chuck with you and you know one H first saw these numbers come out chuck and I and. You know these are these are pretty miserable numbers and they were here down what four point 7% starts permits pulled her down. But just think about the amount of work that's being done in terms of clean up and renovations. Is there's a lot that's happening they're just too you know even just gets sites ready them for potentially being permitted again a four new construction organized renovations on existing properties he's dipping about how many. Homes were damaged or wiped out completely. Between Florida and Texas not to mention Puerto Rico would. And in the virgin island you've got thousands of people working in those two locations that were brought in from the continent away to work. If FEMA workers that are in Puerto Rico and on day in the Virgin Islands and then think about all the thousands of workers that are in Houston and then dead down in fort. Yet the estimates in in Houston are that anywhere between forty and a 100000 homes. Were affected. In a meaningful way by this meaning. You know either you raptors you know duck the minute and pretty knots and are down some are scratch or knock them down completely. See you talking about a massive number of homes. That you were going to be seeing activity on NC say OK if I've got you know let's let's take the middle that range of say we've got 70000 homes there. You say hey we've got you know 70000 homes that we effectively have to rebuild over the next year and in the ad that these numbers no cable like kinda gets in the ballpark of where we arts it's pretty much saying. Things are moving as they as they should be it's just were rebuilding homes instead of building new ones. I would think next year could be pretty good year for house. U 2018 you got a strong stock market Neil ravages. You know housing follows the stock market right so. If you're feeling well the in consumer confidence continues to grow which is very high Irina I think consumer confidence IP it around thirteen year high. You're feeling confident you feel good about your prospects at work you feel good maybe thinking wrong and change jobs or Finnish grad school on their make lots of money. It chances are you thinking about buying a house. Yeah historically people may god the worst long term decisions when everything is best OK because they assume that things are gonna continue that way that's why. When gas prices were down two dollars a gallon everyone said okay we got to start loading up on always suvs again right well we know gas price darken stay there forever journal we've seen them creep but political and 52 dollars a barrel by the way for oil you know it's it's people tend to make long term decision based on short term trends and you know I think I think housing. It's still such a local phenomenon I think there are out there there are markets that are completely overheated that I think are starting to fall part in the US you look at Miami right now. Miami is going to be a disaster for housing over the next three day they have over you know it there they have too many properties priced too highly. And there's going to be a lot of money lost in Miami late just think about New England to be what you do you look at you know parts of Connecticut the market's very soft western Massachusetts the market's very saw there is but there was as much building happening there and so there's not as much money if if you're not you know building you know hundred you know 250 unit Condo. You're not in a position where you gonna potentially have huge bank losses things like that so I'm not too concerned about New England right now it's because. You know you you talk about the areas that are a little bit slow and there's not a ton of new growth that had been expected there in in the Boston area which is booming right now. I think there's some tail winds that could potentially carried out for the next couple years. Steve minutia and who is the Treasury Secretary in the White House and drug administration made an absolute guarantee. The president trump will sign a tax reform bill before the end of this year and this is on a podcast with Politico. And I think. The Treasury Secretary may have overstepped his boundaries a little bit he's also saying that if we don't get tax reform by the end of the year. The market will crash rating agency crash media. We knew would be a significant. A reversal of a significant amount of these gains. So I want to take you back to. March 1 of 27 teams are about seven months ago where Steve minutia was on Fox Business Neil Cavuto. And said that our objective is to pass tax reform and haven't signed by the August recess. There's a news news is as to these things all year. The white guy why woody. These are dangerous statements they because a year you make a statement like that and if you don't get tax reform. By the end here I don't think many people are expecting here and I'm not if if you don't get it you know is he setting us up for correction. Well here here's where I do have some questions just about the messaging coming out of the White House is on one hand. You have president trump saying hey everything's great the economy summon long stock markets at an all time high. And then US Steve minutia saying the economy is gonna fall apart if we don't get tax reform now which is now. But you get it hippie bolt and. Lady gave the the president does is trying to trumpet the the agenda which is to get tax reform done I'm just not sure. Based on the timing and and based on. What we're hearing coming out of the senate. I don't I don't. I've I've not projecting tax reform this year based on whatever it I've always said Q1 of eighteen. Yeah that that's gonna hear it that's when it's going to get done I think we're sitting near probably end of February and that's where you see something getting done. Here's a topic that you probably don't think about until maybe you're in your fifties or sixties. But how much of your money. Are you planning to leave your kids he accumulated wealth or you've worked hard all your life you. You bought a home in media the second hole somewhere and yet some money in your IRA and it's a money in your brokerage accounts. Well yeah you you've accumulated wealth Woody's gonna do with that money they did a poll and they asked a lot of people. Wealthy people wealthy families how much they had planned to leave to their children surprising answers. Well I guess. Did it's it gets into a pretty personal topic Furl for him because you know it's it's money that people worked for over the last you know fifty years sixty years they've been working fair and what's interesting is that a lot of people. Did command say look I'm not gonna leave everything to my kids you know they said I'm gonna leave my kids enough so that they are comfortable but I don't want them to get too comfortable because they've seen it how the how of. That happens we can ruin people's lives here you you went to school you went to college with kids it and inherited a lot of money and you saw the negative impact. Have you guys ever had that conversation with your parents have you have you ever sat down with mom and dad and said. Or have they ever sat you down and said hey this is what I've got and this is what I'm doing it when I die death you have had that conversation. A lot of families don't do. They need or not these conversations have. And only you but my dad did it starting about five years ago and every once a year he'll sit down and he'll show my sister and myself what he's accumulated. He would make sure we know where the passwords are for the different accounts in Delaware the legal documents are what's your age generally Thanksgiving yet we'll have that conversation. I think is helpful thing to do but I'm curious in your fail is too what you're planning to do with your assets to my wife and I. We we haven't had this conversation if in I don't know if we feel we're too young to do it but. The big question is are you leaving all of your assets to your children and now. But I I will sit sit here I'm I'm having great difficulty participating in this poll because we haven't had the conversation. Just I wanna spin back to you on 12 because you said you know you're you're dead leaves it tells he'll pass writes and says here's where everything is up. We're talking woes or maybe 45 weeks ago when the new iPhone was announced up about how everything's moving toward biometrics and so it's. What happens when someone dies and using biometric identification. They have bombed the procedures now are. In your power returning ending year trust documents it. Gives you authority to go in to say any treaty counters with fidelity account but but what I'm saying is how how do you do that. Rea Blakey question it if you're talking biometrics let's say it's facial recognition then. What what you do elect and Felix someone passed away excel you can just enter a pass to a true. I I don't know how you do that so it's you know it's one of the questions that I have about some of us not to take is off topic to four. Are you leaving all of your assets to your children you can participate in our poll by going to our web site which is financial exchange showed dot com and for the first time in forever. I haven't participated in the poll Tucker because I. NAFTA is a free trade agreement that was negotiated back in 1994. Between the United States Canada. And Mexico. It is now in the process of being renegotiated. And we're joined by and the Swanson from the New York Times talked about what some of the sticking points are. I on a welcome to the show. So the news not the talks were did they start in August. That's right so we take up this profit processed and ten and they had a very tight and people for the negotiations which it. We're buster but before the end of the year but yesterday we just got that news that they are going to its. Pushed it back a little that it keep negotiating into the first quarter of next year. All right so the negotiations are ongoing. What are they sticking points where you where the challenges between these three countries. And then there are a lot of challenges in this great country. I would say that you know overall from a proud perspective. And attempt administration's. View is that this has been a bad deal for American workers. And that is given more advantages in Canada and Mexico and led to an especially large trade deficit. I am between the US and Mexico. But where it specifically. That wave that they've proposed to deal with that. Is there it is several. Measures for one and I'm changing their rules that govern how much of that product needs to be made in North America and in the US specifically. NR AQ in Chile as carefree. Trade between the countries and the fact that it meant. Really affect. Absurd number of other positions. For example in creating a conflict that it deals that would allow the deal automatically expire in five years unless the three countries. I'd vote to continue it in time and and significant changes Q. At least that the country's resolve did you ask and debate that I culture that created significant. You know on the renegotiation. After five years in talking to corporate leaders they're very uncomfortable with that because they make. Multi billion dollar decisions. Based on long term trade agreements. That protect their great show business leaders look how he's at their reasoning like these agreements just to provide certainty for that. And when they make an investment. At typically vetoes tears and some kind of bad and for our. A longtime Munich typically more than five years without. Many are paying that. You know if you're intent that kind of fighter. In the great that you basically. You know and businesses have to plan at this NAFTA might think that it's. The administration countered that. You know if if it did that ticket date greed and detonated five years of course welcome good to continue it and it's not a good agreement we should be added in the first place. But businesses today that that would be very destructive to the way that they planned and then testing create jobs or. He had he talked to Mary Barr feel that that's an untenable issue that he she can't win on the what. Who is it next year you've guy you know our congressional elections in November but you also have provincial elections in Canada. And isn't the Mexican. President up for reelection next summer. Yeah that's great said that is one of the biggest issues with the delay that pay behind Langley is proving to be challenged. Four is. It administration and the other negotiators. Hammering at these theories that differences. But it felt good issue with delayed which is that once you get into next year. You start to brand into the campaign for the Mexican. Potential election and it politely about that NAFTA could become a kind of punching bag and the Mexican government could lose its ability to support. You know what is the politically. Unpopular deal and compassion to at the count and then. And it and it says current the United States they'll. Has kind of legislation grade now that the the administration to initiate guilt the congress for example of pretend and to conduct and I. At any amendment to that particular can't Trade Promotion Authority and that also expires at mid next year's stokes. After that in mind these very very different he can't and NAFTA passed in content. And the challenges. If they don't pass something. All three countries loose as I understand it right you'd like the United States will lose jobs you're you're have a lot of people in Texas that are upset. If if NAFTA gets torn up. Canada is gonna lose jobs but it would appear that Mexico has the most to lose if NAFTA goes by the wayside. It looks like that bill. There are you know very industries that win an orderly depending on what happens there are tremendously in the united case that would benefit probably have to apart. But there was that needs that he became not the other day I was in testing that showed that. On net the United States with with about 250000. Job at a good 98 if you bet. It would lose even more than another pat aspect would be about two days picky about the job that it would give the NAFTA. Candidate would lose about a 125000. Dean keep in mind that they have it be a much smaller population. And Mexico would lose 950000. Jobs and that it's so it is a huge economic impact report he's. And these are net jobs say at what point out that's not you know TV people say well we're gonna do we might lose a 125000. Jobs will pick up another happened you know that's. Net loss because of the decline in trade to when you when you dealt terrorists say it it. It hurts your economy but. The. That's OK and and there are other path of course is so probably the ticker at that price that many products for consumers would drag. Most likely. Fruit and vegetables. Out of revealed that in close games and other products that also. And there could be political side they could eat the president having issues impacting other aspects that in and said that you know for example. But the problem I think I would have on is those 125000. Jobs that you referenced are all red state jobs. Made that the people that voted for him. That's OK very good job losses there probably concentrated very heavily in the midwest and at northern United States and the agriculture is not a manufacturing. And then there are of course areas that did a great the president pageant. On is sitting here now it's October 18. Do you think he added a NAFTA deal done nerd they are the these three parties obstinate enough to you know encourage self inflicted wounds. Right now it looks like there's a very challenging and error pat attempt to cap on his tank. It is can it be difficult to pull it you know we kinda put that way because it. You know. Mexico and Canada are not necessarily. Unit that willing to make major concessions capacity to bring in. In particular and the question was what it. The US going to get up for that aren't I would say you know that the pact has looked like it kind of cracked your path as. Lee and they still has earned them time to figure it out but not not very much. Oregon on a thank you very much for your time we appreciate. You on a Swanson New York Times. Now trapped gave it would have the what do the prediction boards suggesting on NAFTA with regards to NAFTA agave IQ when you look if they did it take a look at. It's like he lists like Vegas in terms of NAFTA you can you can find out what the odds are his people actually wager on this. Not seen anything on NAFTA no cut no hitters and they figured to be one of the many. The wager I I don't know whether gets done or not the everybody loses if it doesn't get it you know. Deal until we won we have a a text that came in that said how does everybody lose jobs no one gains jobs work doesn't just disappear. So if you think about it this way if I were to raise taxes on everyone across the board. That reduces jobs because all of a sudden people don't have as much mines dependence of the economy contracts because that money is being taken and used somewhere else. Getting rid of NAFTA and simply going to a situation Loria potentially high tariffs between countries does the same thing so. The question I didn't tax it's not about getting rid of NAFTA it's about making NAFTA fair. Right here on the financial exchange radio network. Time for Wall Street watching Mike Armstrong is here with us now Mike let's start first with IBM it's been a tough couple years for them. But there about 10% today how come. A couple dozen years form and so yes it appear that. Coast and 9% on this this news but they have the biggest revenue beat they've had in five years their earnings came in at 330 this year which just beat expectations. And then they're Q4 revenue expectations ticket around 22 billion which is pretty significantly above. But analysts estimate so. Big news for idea and there are clearly. Game to execute on things that will remind people that this is the 22 consecutive year revenue declines for idea so precinct. Some news out of in India the health care sector anthem Express Scripts and CBS all moving a little bit today what's going on those three companies. Yes or previous anthem at a pretty big deal with Express Scripts to basically deliver there can live inherited their pharmaceutical services and that relationship had really deteriorated over the last few years there are stuck in lawsuits and they're basically just terminating that relationship. And so. They're going to start using CDS for some of these services they're. Bring up this new that benefits you cup NG new RX start twitch when he going to be using CDS for support. And among the news step over 40% Express Scripts is actually up to about two and a quarter and Nancy yet revealed that about half percent. Very good thank you very much like that is Michael Armstrong with Wall Street watch why more men are becoming nurses we are talking about this yesterday. More men are joining the nursing field than I have in previous decades men made up about 13%. Of the nursing field in 2015 that's up from 2.2 percent track in the year 1960. Yeah it's this study looks at this and says you know we could be related to Mormon graduating from high school which is a requirement for a lot of nursing programs. I think it's rather simple to be honest. Pays well pays well and the and I think if you're. In that situation they say your finishing up high school and you're saying OK what am I gonna do for a living. Well a lot of the jobs that you may have thought about maybe maybe your dad worked in manufacturing. Maybe your dad worked in you don't call center and your mom worked in manufacturing. You're seeing those jobs get off short. Nursing candlelight carpenters and electricians date gets in those jobs somewhere else you've got to be where the patients are and I think. It comes down to the fact that you look at what nurses may and you look at the job stability. And I think that's why you're seeing more men heading into that field at this point and aging population. That's gonna help write me the aging population is going to require board verses. Maybe one of the things you brought up yesterday which was pretty valid. Is it the lack of educational opportunities. Partners believe me it's telling your doctors there's not enough that schools that we don't produce enough doctors. Order we're not falling into the same trap. With nurses. I don't know I don't know enough specifics about how nursing programs are funded if you look at how. Med schools and residency and so forth are funded there's taxes that effectively cover that all comes out of me at health services budget so. I don't know that something. That's tied to get it for nursing school I'm not sure I don't know enough Bowden. But. You know certainly we know with doctors that we are not producing enough doctors for the for the population that we have to write. He is a stock market correction coming to a valid question and those of you who have investment portfolios you may be a little bit concerned about your two million dollar retirement account becoming U one million dollar retirement account. Well the reason I bring this up it is. We're going to be holding an event at Bertans grill it's Middlesex comments 43 turnpike road in Burlington Massachusetts has Bertans grill. In Burlington mass the date is November 14. Of 2017 if you like to join us in it's it I'm going to be presenting and we'll do our show for Bertans in the morning. And then will make a presentation to you. About why we are concerned about a stock market correction I think what's more important than being concerned about a stock market correction is. What do you do about how do you allocate your assets to better prepare for the pending stock market correction. If you would like to join us it's a special event in space is limited the phone number to call is 800. 393. Four zeros or one that's 800. 3934. Zeros or one. It'll be Tuesday November 14 come out and watch the show starting at ten as we broadcast live from Bertans grill in Burlington. Bertans grow your life your style. Our food this event will fill up quickly so call now that's 803934001. To make a reservation. These companies chuck will pay you to learn on the job. They start to see us and some large corporations that. Dissatisfied. I think with the status of the the applicants that they're getting right out of college that can take it upon themselves to say. We're gonna provide a one year training program in some cases before you even start working for us to give you the skills that we think you need. Now that's a sign up today that's a sign of the strong job market. The fact that employers are recognizing. That they can't higher rate B if you can't hire an electrician for instance right. He says okay well we can't hire that electrician we'd better train them ourselves we've got to find somebody who's got the brains to be an electrician. And train them ourselves it's it's a sign of a strong job market but the question is why. That's the case. And so you look at this new say okay are you know do or they're just not enough of qualified people coast's oil are we played not training or are people properly. But could be you know AB colleges and your your point is colleges and universities are doing their job. Why have always argued that's not their job now. That colleges and universities wart set up to get people ready for the workforce. Billions it's it's not what they're supposed to do you go when you look in Europe now. Colleges aren't the way that you train people for jobs you know you go into specific programs based on what you wanna do. You don't go study. For four years for something that has nothing to do with your job you bill when actually he'll learn skills that apply to that job. But you know these companies when you talk about Capital One SA EP word to deed. The overall hiring. What they feel are Smart workers are different they're hiring Smart young people yup and then they're saying OK before you actually. Work in one of our kidney centers that's DaVita yeah right we're we're gonna train B you're gonna go through an eleven week internal training program. Because we can't find somebody with those skill sets or we might have to pay too much money you get somebody. It like if they wanted to hire a nurse that is capable working unit in it in that facility by custom 150000. They can hire young kid for 80000 and train. Even in the workforce longer than I have Asher and a if you go back into the eighties and early nineties. What did training programs look like then in and did they existed a lot of played what was your experience would you see from other people who were out there. EC programs like this struck with the in the economy's good the last time he saw anything like this season was in the 1990s. In the 1990s. You would beg borrow and steal to find a worker. And what I see happening now is a very similar environment where it's rookie becoming increasingly difficult. For employers to attract. Smart capable workers. And what they're doing is they're saying okay since week can't hire somebody. We use the legal the skills to be a computer programmer in our company. Will hire somebody who we think is pretty Smart. And we elites in the scale as and and bill bill decide okay we need to six months training program we need three months trading for a short but they'll customize it to their company. And you haven't seen this type of story where this type of activity probably since 1997. Been twenty years so here's my next question how long do the good times typically last after you start seeing these pop up. I depends on policy in only eight a lot of it depends on and what you get for for policy that. And that is when you see things like this. That tells you that. You might be Mears and you know. Heading towards an economy topped but the difference now in and hear something it makes me feel optimistic going four for workers. Is that there's just. Such a large population. That is older we'd never hat we are country tuck has never been this old before. We've never had this percentage of the population. Over the age of sixty in our history now as early. You'll get the median age of the US population okay. And you go back to 1970 in the median age this is near middle fiftieth percentile was 28 point one. In 1970 in 1970 today it's 37 point nine. Now so let's that just think about that for a minute and what that means to your economy yeah they all these old people. The veto wanted the they either won't don't wanna do things or can't do things right. Don't eat you know only if you're ninety years old you're probably not your own grass in OT you've probably generally know. You try not taking carries a so. Might what I see in terms of the our future for especially for workers. Skilled workers I can tell you are gonna get paid if you have a skill and if you're. And I don't mean to deride cashier's but he feared. Eight or or or kitchen workers because if you have a us if your job is something that can be replaced by computer. Any of your future probably isn't very out. What also you look historically those have been entry level jobs you get in you learn what it takes to make it in the workforce then you move up and on to something now you the other whatever comes next there. And so I'd I tend to agree you know they've if you are someone with skills right now. Good time to be a leader who we've talked to people and all industries and everywhere it's not just construction it's not just banking it's not just. Attack now you'll correct across the board. Companies are having a hard time hiring. Sure it does on ease dealing with a big problem with landlords. I don't know if you've ever walked into an apartment building or even a small Condo complex often times you walk in where my daughter lives. She lives in back day you walked into her building. And Tucker out tea it's not a comment packages everywhere it. I mean like there was one day there were so much stuff in the lobby of her building you could barely make it to the stairwell. Dabbled into lock up the stick death a senate package delivery is is wreaking Havoc in apartment buildings Amazon. Going in doing the right thing here I think in and doing something that should facilitate. Better. Do better relationships with a apartment well. I think so what they're doing is they've they've started putting these locker systems in on number of these buildings they've reached agreements with companies that manage up to 850000. Units across the US to start put these locker systems in the building so. On one level a look at that's okay great they're gonna put these in will be more organized and know wonderful. But what happens when you start getting more packages to relate how much space can you take up for these packages to sit him. You raise a really good point because Avalon day and you we've all driven around and seen those AvalonBay apartment building are all over the place down there every across the country. They've gone in one year. Date in one year they went from an average of 650. Packages in him on a month on a monthly bases. To 1000 packages and monthly basis so. You talk about unit or you might question whether online shopping is catching on there's a stat for. People who live audio apartments are shopping online and it's increased by twenty to 30% a year. You know I remember I used to live and deal one of these big buildings back. And it went well last of their it was 2012 about five years ago theft is rampant and woke you provided at this point we are building as a doorman building and so you know everything got dropped off the front desk. But even then like they were having trouble finding work put packages I can't even imagine what they're doing to lake. I don't know where you put. All the stuff whether designating areas and the so much crap that we're buying one now when they're building these new places like apple on days. Maybe there are with what they're doing is there cop they're counting fat they're saying okay people are gonna get their grower crystal before you know there's going to be route large refrigerators in the lobby. Hey coming up we'll be joined by John Mooney. He's a contributor to our show and a frequent co host he's gonna talk to us about an exchange traded fund that he's been studying. Everybody it's very are strong and I'm joined today by estate planning attorney Todd lots key from the law firm of Cushing and dole and I were talking about drafting tips. For your Medicaid income trusts. Todd you know I keep reading almost on a weekly basis about stories worst states are challenging. Durable global trusts and Medicaid applications. What's up with the increased scrutiny on these trusts. Yeah the problem is that you know many more and more people maybe are trying to draft him more more lawyers are trying to get into the field that that may be art race. That's the safest way to say it and and they're putting paragraphs in that that just caused problems if you if you wanna put it in English because a crack in the ice yup and allows them to reach in and you know grab those assets from the trust and it's that that paragraph that causes the problem and so they're starting to realize that rather than just put states are true yeah. States are saying you know we're gonna we're gonna take a closer look at every one of these trusts and see if there's a way that we can find a crack and that it's well makes sense now. Whipped he would have been. What's the result if you lose if you go to a fair hearing and you lose what happens while if you were to lose that the assets basically the assets in the trust that you might have told your clients are going to be protected from the nursing home. Are no longer protected they would be considered accountable that's. And exposed to the cost of nursing home care so it's a big deal it is a big if you lose it's all about drafting Jerry it's all about making sure war. You put the right paragraphs in the trust. Folks if you have a Medicaid income trust you may wanna have it reviewed to make sure that your assets are in fact protected. He can reach out Cushing handled by calling them at 8668485699. Frequent contributor John Moody now joins us for a little bit of stock talked or actually be talking about an exchange traded fund today. John thanks for coming on. K thanks a lot chuck has ago. Done we're doing well let's talk a little bit about this iShares emerging market dividend ETF the ticker on it is DB YE. What do you like about it. Well you've got to talking about you know the high price of the stock stock market and what people can do it you know it's time to be nervous. I thought we would not recommend switching into emerging market that's kind of like saying you're good don't it addictions and I need to start start taking Toledo's. You don't wanna do that but. If you have a diversified portfolio and like a lot of us only eat EM which sort of go to emerging markets ETF. What I think people could look at is trying to may be down shift a little bit on the aggressiveness. The result could be out like quote fund. One way of kind of reducing your risk is maybe go to our growth and income fund or in this case like most of the have a an emerging markets fund. Look at emerging market dividend fund which I didn't even realize there was a category of this and they are really into it I thought I'd share has won. I think. Well custom tree has one and only to find elsewhere is like quote the recount. There's no like pure dividend fund. This is basically looking for. You know larger cap boring small growing larger cap. Large companies that are growing slowly get paid big dividends around the world in the emerging markets. That's what that's like 4% dividend. It's certainly actively traded. But it has a little PP. And it's kind of up are safer way I think maybe they have picked play a growing area of the world. John what are things I find interesting on this is the expenses on our point 49%. We are actually lower than the EM on that you mentioned earlier which is point seven tussaud's not overly expensive for an emerging markets ET. Very interesting I've got to believe that this is some sort of quad site index. Where they just simply went to some of the larger cap boring dividend players around the world and popped the whole group to your plate it's really well diversified in fact. There's several different categories that are all between fourteen and 16% exposure financials utilities information technology Telecom. So it sounds like Camille like they did burst. Kind of boring way to get into safer way to get into the fast growing areas of the of the of the world. And you know it pays over 4% what I like is. You know EEM pays around one point 8%. It has an ATP EC getting looked actually expect a lower dividend for more growth. In this case you didn't probably lower growth pretty good in the ice over 4% dividend. But that's appealing. Very good job thank you very much for the time gets over the soon look at. It absolutely John Mooney from right here on the financial exchange actually in the ticker on that he TF by the way if you do want to look it up on your own is DV. Why EU that is the iShares emerging markets dividend ET. We have a robust rally on Wall Street today you know yesterday. We got over 23000. Ever so briefly and then came the market came down the Dow did. Under 23000. Today. While the Dow is up a 136. Points at 2300133. Nice gains. Yeah primarily the biggest gains happening just because IBM is moving up by about 9% right now. Taking a look at the other Dow components and some of the banks Europe right now. Let's take a look and see who else is moving in positive territory today. In terms of biggest percentage changes IBM is the leader in the clubhouse up 9% Goldman up one point eight UnitedHealth of one point three caterpillar up about. Three quarters one person and very quietly. Oil has gone from the low forties even under forty dollars a barrel up to 52 dollars and fourteen cents per girl so we are seeing. What I consider to be fairly significant rally in the price of oil. Gold can't say the same thing though gold is down two dollars an ounce at 1283. Dollars an ounce and euros at 117. And the ten year treasury note. Trading at 2.3 4%. Thanks for tuning in to this hour of the financial exchange. Featuring trucks not a talker so let me. Area after. It wasn't too long ago when we broke out our doubt 22000. Rally caps well you need a new one. As the Dow is over 23000. To 23132. And as I sit here today on October 18 that's a pretty good chance that market closes over 23000. Hi everybody it's very chuck with you here. On a record setting day. Yeah Dow over 23000 largely on the back of IBM which is up nine and a quarter percent today after reporting earnings. And so they are the the biggest component it's kind of moving the market upward right now S&P 500 pretty much flat the NASDAQ flat but. With IBM being one of the thirty stocks in the Dow that nine and a quarter percent and up to push the Dow up. Out two thirds of a percent so for one stock that's not up today. Is Chipotle Mexican Grill CMG is the symbol Ford down seven dollars a share more than 2%. Trading at 322 dollars on concerns over labor costs. Yeah and this is a stock that really just has not. Found its motives since the the late 2015. Health issues that they faced and a number of their restaurants the stock since that time is gone for about 720 dollars a share. Down to 322 today so they've lost over 50% of their value. In the last two years now and the other being downgraded here by bank America. Bank of America saying you pay people. To which they they are a labor intensive restaurant but I tell you what if there's a restaurant that could go robotic it would be to pull. Be pretty easy if you don't walk walk me through the process and you walked in the door let's say you are you walk in the door you order your food on Monday and iPad. Or computer screen yup. And then. You know five minutes later you walk in and it's been made by a robot thing about a air all the components abatement because what you buy it which ball either by burrito we viable. I think the bulls are probably is due I don't know if you could hold a burrito necessarily as easily as you think I don't know I I I think Tripoli. Is among the worst case whatever it was it rips right like that's what if if you make in a either robots made it their reason they ripped as they put too much stuff and or you just it it could be just you know every burritos a little different the wraps are slightly different I feel more comfortable with robotics was something like McDonald's yeah but I think they're August oddities and you you can't mess up percent let you you can't break a sandwich. I think you're gonna see. The vastly it and it's you sort of have people in these restaurants don't get me wrong. But I think you're gonna see a restaurant like to polarity here and see your McDonald's of the world's they're gonna go from you know fifty employees. Per shift down to fifteen or twenty you'll be dramatic reductions in the number of people working in restaurants largely due to robotics. How long does it take. And take five years. This is one area gradual I think on when you're talking in front of the house of taking orders and things like that. I think you're right. I'm not sure on the actual making of who and it's not because it's not because you can't do Witten. I think there are a lot of people who just want their food to be made by another person. Well I don't know a a bit for me anyway I don't know how talker feels about this bit. If if chipotle was able to reduce cost. By having a robot make me dilution Fareed like it careless with those rural water human and he wouldn't matter to buy their biggest import cost right now is food. Right you know it. Having a robot doesn't change back the guacamole still has next charge. Yet so I I just I. I think there are a lot of people who were uncomfortable with the idea that their food is not being made by a person while they like sitting there like watching a robot make it yeah I think about it like the food you're making now it's not like that person meet the likable eating chopped to pull it'd innovative and chipotle they do to make everything fresher. At 20 they do that's like their whole selling point that out all of the when they changed their format they were now bringing in their tomatoes chopped tomatoes from central locations. Is still making the Glock on site. Yeah they're chopping up the tomatoes onions. Frye and for heated veggies and everything like can all be done by iRobot. I don't know robots or move fast enough well those guys are moved pretty quick to make a burrito and we'll see we'll see mark my words. Fast food is going robot let's put them. I was. The got a little way of the cashier I think that on the front and you're right I just I I have questions about the back end. They've done surveys in ninety conservatives it done observations where. You can walk into a McDonald's. And you can either order your food on a computer screen or you can go and talk to the cash here. People prefer to order their food on the computer screen as a clear topic you talked about order yeah that's stood up I know that's just. I I don't think game for the most part. I could careless when treatment and I think step one is like something like a McDonald's where you have a robot grilling meat and then. A human takes over the apple reporting the actual hamburger together via point CD thing uses for the robots doing you get perfection. If you're making Fries you know exactly when to take the Fries where you get no soul. Why would Netflix care with their ratings are. It Nielsen is now going to be reading. Netflix and telling us how many people watched. And whatever the shows are that are being produced in episodes are. A not so much that Netflix cares Netflix would prefer to tell as little as possible about how many people watched the show okay. It is the content providers that are selling their content to Netflix. That want data as to how many people were watching programs there's they can properly price that what they're selling over to Netflix and so. And all case ABC. When they sell them the black list or whatever show it is a exactly so for ABC says hey normally we get ten million people week watching this all incident shows that Netflix is getting eighteen million people watching that. They'll look up and I'll say will hate war were under charging for content we should be charging a whole lot more. And we want you know renegotiate. I have an idea for yesterday you walked us through the matrix in terms of what Netflix could do for revenue growth when they started having advertising on the Netflix platform. You know I've thought about does it I am a size bigger watched Amazon they do their ads. Did promotions of other shows that they're doing I think that's a lot tonight that after I seek they have ads to after I don't think guys realize I've never seen one on Amazon has not ordered dropped us. Acts and I think we're we're in Netflix could make money use. First of all they could do placement advertising. They could say you know they can have a show a western where they talk about how great for trucks are they already do that. I brought it down Garrity had a US house of cards daily. There to have an apple February out loaded yeah look at every computer house cards now computer but why couldn't they have you know when you're watching your show. A little emblem for Domino's Pizza show up in the right bottom breaking quarter little and a Jewish community. Now I'd rather have a character eating said Domino's piano. It's like one of the reasons I think that people pay for those. Jim on those. Whether it's Netflix whether it's school whether it is HBO now anything like that there's no commercials. Like people don't like commercial bit there's a reason I why people DVR through them understand me out if I'm the CEO of Netflix what I'm doing isms and okay. Because there's still losing money and remembered the they're they're not about money making machine it was it was how much of these losing their shirts profitable pal. They're making aid dollar per share another gonna do. Let's let's take a look at 201626. Team they made about 200 million dollars after taxes and this here they are it's a it's a hundred billion dollar company this year there are on pace to do around. Five to 600 out. Taxes CO but I concede Netflix do their grow in this subscribers for five million per quarter. Right that that was last quarter was five million growth globally. Yeah so they're up by about 10510. Million total subscribers. Once they reach. And peak subscriber growth through they feel they're on their way to peak subscriber growth. The big way for them to adding an additional revenues say they end up in the field at 300 million is it is as high as they're gonna go short. Then you start layering in advertising and in you make people watch. Tense second commercial 52 commercial reach show that amount amount. Amount I actually don't I don't want to commercials I think youthful. I think these days that's one of the reasons why I cut the cord because I can't stand seemed eight hundredths you know Ford commercial hunter commercial it could be a little here and there she is going to be a little one know you and I'll pay it. And now a way to book it it's one of the reasons why like I have abandoned a lot of online videos and our show and all these commercials. I'd I'd I won't watch a guy used who does that now detonated device. It's borderline on Waugh collect a certain time three of look at 32 commercial or 152 video merely what the heck guy doing a sex out of it had run out there I'm done like. Tonight. Up next will be talking about the trump tax plan. They're hitting a bump and it's all related to ringing and Paul that's next from the funny to exchange radio network. Chuck is a story about Rand Paul having a problem. And answer in any could mess up the opportunity and the tax plan yet. I don't think it will what this has to do with is yesterday. There were some debate regarding the budget resolution that the senate is currently undertaking in order tried to lay ground work for potential tax reform and and Rand Paul has come out and said. That the budget that is being discussed would exceed caps in spending by about 43 billion dollars. And that he would have a difficult time would likely vote no. Unless this stayed with in the spending caps so. I think you know this a case where Rand Paul's probably gonna end up voting no on this and I don't think it matters a lot Republicans had enough votes that. They can get his resolution through this is not tax reform actually this is the past two they didn't have any trouble get. This through. Then there were five Donald Trump has narrowed the Fed's leader search to five. Final candidates LC flexible toys saying I guess today saying hey I like all five of the candidates that are still out there. At the moment in the finalists are Janet Yellen the current fed chairwoman. Jerome Powell who is a fed governor. Former fed governor Kevin worst. Gary Cohen who's the director of the National Economic Council. And John Taylor who is an economist at Stanford University those the five finalist at this point Joseph one more interview left Janet Yellen on Thursday that's the final candidate that he stock and yet and he has a stated that he wants to have this wrapped up by the time he hits over to Asia which is on November 3 so the next couple weeks where I know who's gonna be nominating for this position. If Janet Yellen is not nominated for a second term. It would be the first time in nearly four decades. That a first term president has replaced the sitting fed chief. I'm very curious to see what he does I have no idea what direction he's going. I have and hold these unpredictable. I have no idea here where he goes. Bombed in a lot of it depends on Janet's relationship with the Monica and I don't know if it's strong or not. The easy money would save someone other than and then he owns because of what he had said previously you know while he was campaigning. But. I have no idea everybody wants. Amazon Newark, New Jersey offered him seven billion dollars sessions every went to San Antonio said no thanks for writing and put into the did into the sweepstakes yup. Massachusetts. However Connecticut's putting in a bid New Hampshire putting and get a bid. Massachusetts has several bids being put in from different regions of the state. Yet they've got bids from western they've got bitch Somerville bids from. Boss don't Fall River New Bedford I mean you've you've got I think it's gonna be something like five or six different bids in that are put together when it's all said and done. And the question of people are asking is Hayes is gonna make the state more or less attractive to Amazon my guess would be more. Tebow Fall River need to have access to too good airports. Do you need to. Use you more flexibility in a that you basically take over the Providence airport Dave you don't need to go now. Be itching to see where it lands I I don't know if it's gonna end up in New England or not I I saw Worcester offered them 500 million dollars of incentives. Everybody wants. Ever I've I think Boston's got a very strong case. I gate I think Boston. Is the strongest. Candidate simply because of the kids maybe a Knoll Amazon knows if you do any kind of study on the hill intellectual capital. Of the country. And if you look at where your educated most educated work forces. Boston. It it has been for a hundred years it will be for another hundred years and it's it's just a function of the fact that we have 85 universities insider went when he. I don't know the exact a tremendous number it's all the universities and and I think the big thing also there's not as schools the big thing to remember. Amazon's been hiring hand over fist for the last you know. Two years in Boston like they can't hire quickly enough in Boston so they know the area already paper I have a lot of people Seattle that was like to relocate to Boston because it would I have my buddy who is working for them he spends. He kind of speed he's got a good deal lower splits time between Seattle and is able to work remotely new you Martin but he glove defeated may have spent time in Boston's going all the way across the country through that night. I suspect you've made it. I don't really we do not have any inside information I'll leave it at that house memorial hospital sale collapses full forcing the the closure of the memorial hospital in Pawtucket Rhode. Yeah on this hospital employs 800 people. And the other companies currently operating them has not announced exactly when the final day of operation will be more how they will move employees to. Other hospitals and add potentially. But in April they announced that they were going to be cell memorial off to. Prime healthcare and that deal has now collapsed. As they were unable to reach a mutually acceptable deal. That's what the company has said here so you certainly had it jeopardizes. The you know employment of those 800 people we don't know how many are gonna be able to be reassigned and and also it's gonna have an effect on care in that region potential. You know I mean there's a lot of other that part of the problem I think is they're not doing enough business they'll only averaged fifteen to twenty impatience that day so long. You know they've just didn't none of businesses to make profit yes. MGM resorts has purchased a woman's pro basketball team for Las Vegas. Yes this is a team they currently operates at a San Antonio the San Antonio stars. And they're going to be moving them to Las Vegas my guess is probably they're gonna be in the same facility that the golden knights are playing and you know just to get you know some additional traffic coming through that venue they're down about 7000 fans per game I didn't know some bad now you know it's enough evidently to make money it will in the way I look at it when you own a venue like that the team mobile arena it's all about trying to get is many nights as possible killed there and so. You know you've got 41 from hockey now okay. From this I don't know how long it WNBA season is my guess you probably get fifteen maybe twenty home games okay snipes gets sixty nights taken up out of the year so you've got a couple anchor tenants that can give give via base. And then it's just say now we need to get content and now we need to get you know other performers and and that's what you start to get you know out. In Mohegan Sun has to enumerate today that you the Connecticut Sun the idea that yet this on him. You know the the league drew last season one point five million fans I think it's only a matter time before base has an NBA team. I think it's always is that they've got football coming right football's coming in 29 to nineteen 'cause the hockey team. Hey I know the seasons burger smoked the boroughs im kinda Malcolm Sudan that's the Bruins terrible that your. I wonder to be adjusting to see how they're drawing for fans. When you get to march when you know because by then though I don't do well all year they're gonna get all of a any opposing teams fans are jam that building up. Now that's a nice place ago damp it's it will not be a good home field advantage but it will be it will be a packed house every night. Scientists. Mornings at 1030 only on the financial exchange radio network. Watched colleges and universities produce the most. Billionaires well no surprise the Wharton school at the University of Pennsylvania comes in first place. You know University of Pennsylvania coming in with each team Stanford University. Coming in with. Thirteen in a case there's your top two there. Will school called Dartmouth College coming in number eight with seven and here's the point that I'd like to make just two up with this in perspective here guys. The University of Pennsylvania has 25000. Students Stanford University. Has 161000 students. Dartmouth College has 4400 sweep produce about half as many with a quarter of the population does pretty much cementing our reputation as. The greatest school country tuck is the business school there aren't there's a business school yup. So number ten on the list Cornell. Number nine duke. Your school Dartmouth the Emory University of Michigan. 55000 people now that Columbia. That's Bob Kraft school Heatley came in number six harbored where they can't be happy about being number five though certainly not only eleven graduates. That are billionaires but that does raise the question of you know where is Mark Zuckerberg ranked as he didn't graduate that's right so you know that's technically won Moreno giving him an honorary degree when he thinks. Have they done that yet I don't know it to the commencement speech tonight. They must give them some sort of a degree. What are maybe. Me maybe two outs on the list he definitely didn't actually finish up woody could after sophomore year. Thanks. BS either lately news early sophomore here somewhere in that ballpark. Yeah looks like he did get his degree. This year actually he got an honorary degree from harper said he doubts. Yes or recounts have. Harley-Davidson. Holy cow this company. Taken it on the chin be they just. No he's buying bikes the other big thing that I've heard from mom Harley dealers is that they can't get kids the public's right. Day it's the other popular between the age of you know forty and seventy still. But they're just not getting young kids buying Harley's young kids who do want to buy motorcycles while times don't overseas brands with the talking BMW from over in Europe and tucked a buddy of mine who's he's in his fifties. He bought a used one yet more here. On a modestly used by instruments. Yeah Harley's stock it's gone from a peak of around 75 dollars a share back Ian 2014. Names that are 48 today socialist about a third of its value in a rising market yup. In rising stock markets of tomorrow Hawaiian Airlines CEO shrugs off the southwest effect out they went oh Southwest Airlines. Is going to be flying to Hawaii that is going to be popular. They did they will do you know you'd think about. The error connection system. And they have a very loyal. Following people who fly selfless love southwest they like the flexibility. They put a great product on the table play that's you talk about why they have been able. Suited to grow as rapidly as they have been the put a great product on the table. I think it's an I don't know. The products great but I think the execution has great. Media terms in that in that industry that's what it is you know because it's it's to monetize to to see out airplane places there's there's nothing that's really that different in the broad scheme of things yet this one's got purple lights in this one's got you know seats that go back half inch further added basically you're right now is when you get on a plane now. You're you're listening to your music you're watching a movie on your phone you're not reliant. On and then you don't expect food anymore right you know expect a nice meal right exactly so all I say the Hawaiian Airlines. Be careful yourself was didn't get to be the second biggest airline by market cap now by accident they're good at what they do. They have the lowest fares out there yet you don't get to pick your seat before hand don't care to the store full flights. They don't forget if you're looking to diversify your investment portfolios. He's saying that he had nothing to do with the conspiracy involving funneling money for companies to our players that'd Jesus smearing him and tarnish his reputation by implicating him. In the alleged bribery please. Well good luck wreck TV he's he's gonna have to prove that he had no culpability here rate would yet again to anybody can testify like I'm trying to think. I guess is this is a program that has had three major controversies in five years now. All related to him. He's somehow is wiggle out from underneath every single one of them is he he's been the coaster for five years he's been coached there for twelve or thirteen now think if the games there since 02 world yeah maybe sounds or bluntly. That they had. Prospects who are getting you know escort brought in. And you know paid for by like the university and stuff like that. Yeah and he somehow skated on this that Florida as I said before like the delisting now you know where the money was coming from to pay for them. Two birds one stone done. And I guess he is not running clean program in the last five years I don't know anything about him as a person but that program has been. Dirty over the last five he coasted to be you do it and Providence College here's a province was CPU as well I think Egan who has I don't think it was. View these these Fedor I think he spent three years of Providence. He spent he did spend five years at BU yeah Florida 78 to 83 priority heading to the knicks is an assistant that he came back. Went to Providence then back to the knicks get a lot of these Celtics eight union a lot of success in Providence. Providence yep probably he probably did his best coaching job anywhere just because he wasn't dealing with no upper Echelon recruits like when he was a Kentucky. Never really had any success in the NBA's coach. The SEC is suing Rio Tinto over claims it misled investors and from everything I read in the story in today's Wall Street Journal. Only these two guys just really the CEO and CFO. We're in it up to their next. Yes there are claiming that the yacht company misled investors about the value of Mozambique coal assets. Where they had paid three billion dollars. For these assets despite an internal assessment that said they were worth negative 680 million. So you made a four billion dollar accounting error that Italy yet they are they're trying to hide the fact that these terrible and that's. Yeah it it it pretty much it. It it would seem to me if if what the SEC is claiming actually happened they've got a pretty strong case now. You guys it if you ever driven. I've never been in a self driving car ever sat behind the wheel of one I've never been a passenger self driving car. But Peter Valdez the Pena from CNN money has he drove it for a 150 miles east enough to join us today on the financial exchange I Peter. So talk to us about your experience I I saw this guy shifting his last week I read the article but tell our audience if you would about your experience. Driving a Cadillac with this feature called super cruise. It was a very interesting. And we say self driving some to burn a quibble about whether it's really so Brad and I. Because it only works on highway. You can't use this in the city it only works on designated interstate the car use uses GPS technology to know. Waited on one of the android where it's lot of work it has very detailed internal maps so it knows where every curve is every upcoming tollbooth. It knows when the linger in his skin and then what it allows you to do in a lot of first they have an active cruise control. And technology called lane keeping assistance. This key kid but a certain distance behind the cars ahead provided you assess certain speed. And a lot actually moved this your role for him. I'll be keeping a link between have to keep your hands on the steering. This system takes that another step farther because not only don't have that might speed on the gas to the break the cart is terrible that. I can remove my aunt completely from the steering abdomen might allow apple cup of coffee. Whatever. The requirement though for me for this system to work is that I have to be looking at the road. I can't be watching a dvd I can't be it checking my emails. Any uses they can't write additional camera mounted on the steering wheel bit looks that might face you buy a book away for too long line. From the road this system won't work. What's too long Peter the caddie is it a second two seconds. It took about I think five to ten seconds or so did I keep my pace looking away. This system essentially what Tommy. What you're not playing this game right here gonna do in this rate. And the car will safely. Turn the system off. So you're how you're no Alain in your driving what from New York to Washington is that where you're right okay. Other dark wash your trip all told that two and fifty miles or so most of the time while I was on I 95. I was able to see and use this system and basically just sit there. At what speed Peter. And a lot of little trouble but yeah seventy miles an hour percent. So where you in the right Arlene just kind of going the flow of trafficker Diego. Where is tied it in the I was most the time now on the left playing but in the in just to the right the left lane. Completely goes pretty fast and you know basically I don't wanna. Get a speeding to go on doing this since. Usually either in the left lane about getting around someone and that or they would move over back into that second from the last play. So is the operator you could choose the speed at which you wanted to travel. Some systems some of these systems there are similar to this like Mercedes bring out the keeper hands on the wheel bull also automatically read speed limit signs and we'll actually slow down. This cart as indeed it is entirely up to view. What you wanna go the speed limit below the speed limit over the speed limit you set the speed you wanna go. Again assuming there's not a car departed and of course there's a corporate is going slower it's been a slowdown. How pilots are how close does it let you get to the car in front of you if you're going sixty miles an hour. At what point does it slowed the vehicle down. Before it was locate corporate Roy fifty miles an hour yup you you can choose to setting that your comfortable with. You can even get confused how large a big gap between your salt and a car in front of you. Pretty able someone of the car with needs that you like Steve is a shorter gap because otherwise car is keep cutting in front of you. Just for the sake of comfort I like a longer gap between the cart grand. How do you how did you change lanes let's say get behind a slow poke and yet he's wanna change lanes and pass them. But oh how does that work. Well in this car you have to you have to train and swing changes yourself so you signaled early trained. You grab history will move this during role in the once you're reset in the in the next one and the two of them one lane your laps to pass somebody who is editor in that lane. The car will let you know okay. You're in a new lane now I can stick their car has cameras that attack the lane lines. Again you let go of the steering wheel and the car will resume. It's on operation and that way. OK in an initially had to get it started EU immerse say you're driving emerge on the highway. You get into the right lane like most of us do you get up to the speed limit. Then then what you do like how do you engage this Chevy cruise. Assist isn't it our crews. Yeah super regret. That's the tricky part about having had told DMI thought they'd be needed to work on and look back hard once you're on a car. Where our gratitude and what are on highway where the car recognizes. That this system can work here. It's designed to work on this particular highway then 88 small steering wheel symbol appears in the gauge cluster up to the right of where the speedometer is. There's a little raid steering wheel. And that lets you know that OK you're in the middle of drilling at it in the oval in port to work then you press and OK button on your steering. And once you do that stated that simple turns green it there's a late in the top but the remote your steering wheel like that weight bearing your eye view. That also will turn green. And that lets you know the system is working you take her hands up mr. Peter but if I'm if five by a caddie today does it automatically have the super cruise on that on the car. BO it's a roughly 5000 dollar option nobly on most cadillacs you except for the very top trim level. But that's you know that's you're getting up into an 80000 dollar car. Dollars more so on the very top trim level comes standard on other ones it. Now as General Motors said that they're gonna make this available on their entire fleet of vehicles or is it just on the high end cars. All certainly making it available on Cadillac I would only imagine them I don't know for effected him as answer at least at this. But given how these things usually work and how it has worked with things like active cruise control I mentioned earlier lane keeping assistance. Those things tend to creek gold down. Into less and less expensive cars so my guess is before too long. You will be seeing this on several aides. As well. Does it become issues like you think about cruise control that was an added feature back in the seventies. You'd pay for those clunky and then now every car comes with cruise control desist becomes standard equipment in five years. My guess would be yes my guess would be what's gonna happen is we're gonna see a progression of this technology as it rolls out the technology it's cheaper and cheaper customers start to expected more. So you're going to see things and brought that ultimately I think what a move towards a police self driving car meaning one that can actually drive itself. In city traffic as well on the highway them but in the meantime we're gonna see step by step technology like yes. And and that's it mr. trickling down to before long were searching active for his control being I think expected. On more and more cars were deceit that and then after awhile I think maybe I would think more than five year but I think after awhile you're gonna see this kind of technology. Becoming standard. Also this consumers learn how to use it mean I'm a lot of people still don't really I even understand. Active cruise control a wind you'd be assistance to people don't like it they're not comfortable with it. But that's customer start to learn how to use this stuff. There's also that comfort level that pastor. That has to grow in India actually competent OK we put this in a number of cars there have been no major incidents we understand that it's now's the estate in people by the use it. Inundated again it'll surgical. Do you think it leads to a reduction in accidents on the highway. Absolutely. I think technology like this will absolutely. People get scared about it they're they're nervous about it. There's no question in the vast majority of precious. In cars are caused by simple human hair is people making mistakes. The more and more computerization we have been we're seeing this already with things like automatic emergency braking is already reducing deaths. An accident so I think there's no question that as this gets out there. He is gonna make driving safer. Because people are the less often get them to be distracted and swerve into the next lane or you don't failed to stop in time for car. There you'd Peter thank you very much for your time appreciate it. Thank you have Peter evolved as de Pena from CNN talking to some a self driving cadillacs. I don't know that I would pay 5000 bucks for. None of this point not for that kind of technology. But as you said the cost is gonna come down. And it's gonna make its way in other vehicles and if it's a thousand bucks I think a lot of people might. Yet those dear old timers like me you remember back in the seventies cruise control so he had to pay for about a car yet death. Add that in it was an extra. They the Dow is up a 132. Points yes and tees up a point. My name's Barry Armstrong who were signing off from the financial exchange rate and.
