The establishment media is spinning a lie: namely, that Pope Francis I is a closet progressive. He isn't. In fact, the pope is an orthodox Catholic, who opposes abortion, homosexuality and same-sex marriage. He is a cultural conservative, a mortal enemy of the secular West's culture of death. I think he's great.

The GOP establishment is lashing out at Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul. John McCain is calling him "wacko." Lindsey Graham says he's "ridiculous." The reason: Mr. Paul dared to challenge the Obama administration's secret drone program. Mr. Paul is right. His critics are wrong.

Bob Woodward is now the victim of a White House-orchestrated smear campaign. The Obama regime is openly threatening and slandering a Washington liberal journalist for the temerity of criticizing the president. The media's reaction? They are circling the wagons, not around one of their own, but Mr. Obama. Freedom of the press is dead.
