Doug 'VB' Goudie

M-F 6am - 10am

VB got his start (and his unfortunate nickname) as a producer/sidekick on the Howie Carr Show on WRKO during the nineties.  After carrying Howie for  over a decade, VB parlayed that job into a television gig, and he joined the Fox 25 Morning News in Boston in 2003. (It was just a matter of time before tv came calling - just look at him.) It was on that show where VB first worked (was aggravated by) Kim Carrigan. Following his 11 year run with Fox, VB decided to return to his roots, and he has come home to WRKO, where he has rejoined forces with Kim. (Yes, he is a glutton for punishment.) Aside from that, VB continues to be a very handsome man who tries to keep his head above water while raising his three kids (who he adores) and his puppy (who he does not adore).

I'm one of those guys who occasionally likes to think about what our Founding Fathers might think about certain events that in 2017. With that in mind, I whipped out my kid's Mickey Mouse Time Machine this week and invited the ghosts of George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Alexander Hamilton to...

So the Patriots went to the White House on Wednesday, and while it pained me as a Falcons fan to tune in, I did so knowing that this was going to be a fun, raucous, upbeat affair. And maybe it was, IN PERSON, but on television, it was terrible. Why? Because 1. White House visits like this are...

There's an old phrase first uttered by Charles Dudley Warner that goes "Politics makes strange bedfellows". If I may, I'd like to add that "Politics makes for even stranger dinner companions".
