About the Health and Wellness Hour

Each Sunday between 5 and 6 p.m., Dr. Alan Glaser MD hosts the Health and Wellness Hour. The program will cover all aspects of modern health: prevention, treatment, research, administration and more. Every week, Glaser will be joined by a different guest from the health field who will help break down specific issues so that you can be a better informed patient or care-provider. Dr. Alan Glaser MD is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is the medical director at Wellesley Primary Care Medicine. Dr. Glaser has had letters published in prestigious medical journals including The New England Journal of Medicine and The Archives of Internal Medicine.

November 20th Show: Orthopedic Surgery and Hand Surgery

Dr. Bruce M. Leslie, who's speciality is surgery of the hand and upper extremity, joins Dr. Alan Glaser on November 20th's show. Dr. Lesile is a graduate of Brown University and a 1978 graduate of Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He trained at Tufts-New England Medical Center and completed a combined Tufts New England Baptist Hospital Hand Fellowship. October 16th Show (Part 1): Arthroscopic Surgery

On Sunday, October 16th, Dr. Glaser will be joined by Dr. Laurie Katz. Dr. Katz completed her orthopaedic residency training at the Tufts Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Program. She then went on to complete a fellowship program in Sports Medicine at New England Baptist Hospital. During her fellowship, she gained training room experience working as an assistant team physician for the Boston Celtics and Harvard University Athletics.
