The 1980s has always been a super popular decade for many reasons but especially for the fashion because it was so in your face! It literally screamed look at me with these bright colors and accentuated shoulders! Neon colors were big. Now I never lived during the 1980s so I suppose I can only speak to the intrigue of it and why the generations after the 1980s wanted to visit it because of how fun and different it seemed from our own. I grew up in the 1990s where things were more bland in fashion (in my opinion) ...at least compared to the 1980s. I'm sure the world needed a more muted approach after all the wild colors and hair so maybe that's why. The 90s had some fun fashion items but not like the 1980s. There's a reason more people dress up as someone generic from the 80s for Halloween over the 90s. 80s workout dancer, 80s rocker, etc. I don't think I've ever seen someone just randomly dress up as someone from the 90s as a costume, it's always a specific character from the 90s. So needless to say, I can see why the 1980's came out on top when BooHoo researched each state's favorite decade for fashion! & Not only that, we've incorporated and carried on popular 80s fashion trends today, such as leggings!

Not surprising about Lipton's introduction of hard teas. Honestly, it seems like EVERYONE is introducing a hard version of their beverage product. I was just covering Sunny D introducing hard seltzers...and many others before that. Do I think it's a good idea? Sure, for those who have been drinking their tea brand for years, it appeals to them, makes sense. I don't think it could hurt the brand. As long as the same quality present in their teas is present in these hard versions, it's a win. I'm not running out to the store to buy them but if I came across them, I would try it. Would you?
