Table Talk Pies vs. George's Coney Island Hot Dogs

The Worcester Bravehearts baseball team is having two beloved local institutions compete for a spot on their jerseys and the right to have the team be called their name for one night! Will it be the Table Talk Pies or the Coney Island Hot Dogs? In addressing this promotional campaign, team owner John W.S. Creedon Jr and general manager Dave Peterson said: “On June 19, which is a Tuesday, the Worcester Bravehearts are not going to exist,” Mr. Peterson said. “There will be no Bravehearts. The team will change their name for one night only. We don’t know yet what our name is going to be. That is up to the community.”

How will the team name be determined? The community is invited to vote for their favorite choice online. To vote for your favorite, vote DIRECTLY HERE!

The team name will be announced and showcased on June 19th at Hanover Insurance Park. You have until 11:59pm June 18th to cast your vote!

In addition to this fun campaign promoting two local gems, general manager Peterson said that their idea is to have fans bid in a charity auction for the commemorative game-worn jerseys and caps of their favorite players. Each institution is playing for a charity of their choice. Table Talk Pies is playing for Hector Reyes House, which is a residential substance abuse treatment program and George's Coney Island Hot Dogs is playing for Amor Para Puerto Rico, which is a program for relief and resettlement efforts in Puerto Rico after last year's hurricane.

Who do you want to win? Do you have a favorite? Gets your votes in on time!
