Second Woman Accuses Al Franken

"Put his hand full-fledged on my rear"

Last week, Al Franken was accused of sexual misconduct by Los Angeles Radio personality Leann Tweeden.  After seeing proof and apologizing, Franken volunteered to have a Senate Ethic Committee look into his behavior.  The prevailing thought on Senate Ethics hearings, is that it's where issues "Go to die."

But now it seems that Franken might need to call a second investigation into himself:  Lindsay Menz, 33, has said that when she was at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010, she was taking a picture with Franken, when he "Pulled me in really close, like awkward close, and as my husband took the picture, he put his hand full-fledged on my rear [...] It was wrapped tightly around my butt cheek [...] It wasn't around my waist. It wasn't around my hip or side. It was definitely on my butt."

Franken has said he doesn't remember that encounter.  Mitch McConnell was one of the most vocal Senators to denounce Roy Moore after accusers came out against him. He immediately declared that Roy Moore should step aside or drop out of the race to fill Jeff Sessions' vacant seat.  Why has he not demanded the same of Franken?  That's rhetorical, by the way...
