Because he criticized Putin's LBGT policies

Oh my... "Star Trek" actor and "Howard Stern Show" mainstay George Takei has been accused of sexually assaulting a male model in 1981.  In a Facebook post, Takei responded to the accusations of Scott R. Brunton.  Takei took his social media battle further, sending out this now-deleted tweet:

Not all of it was visible in the screenshot, but Takei says that Russian Bots pushed the allegations because “By way of background, when I criticized Putin’s anti-LGBT policies publicly, Russian bots attacked my FB page relentlessly, and we had to develop special security measures and ban all traffic from within the Russian Federation and the Ukraine. I am accustomed to their practices.”

Et tu, Chekov
