Elizabeth Warren Recalls Her #Me too Story

Kuhner calls shenanigans

The Kuhner Report
October 23, 2017 - 12:57 pm

The #Me too social media movement has a new participant, Elizabeth Warren.  "Meet the Press" ran a piece this weekend, where Warren and Seantors Mazie Hirono, of Hawaii, Heidi Heitkamp, of North Dakota, and Claire McCaskill, of Missouri all shared their "Me too" stories of harassment.  Warren recalled when she was "A baby law professor," and an unnamed Senior Faculty Professor at an unnamed University chased her around the office.  She did manage to escape "After several rounds I jumped for the door and got out and I went back to my office and I just sat and shook. And thought, ‘What had I done to bring this on?’ And I told my best friend about it and never said a word to anyone else. And for a long time I wore a lot of brown."  The #Me too campaign has served to reveal the scope of harassment that women have faced, but telling this tale without naming a University and/or name has some, including The Kuhner Man, thinking that she is either exaggerating, or making it up to identify with voters and women.  He's calling Shenanigans; what do you think?
