MSNBC host Joe Scarborough didn't hold back in his verbal assault on President  Trump today. Following Trump's anti-muslim retweets "Morning Joe" went on the offensive.

Trump retweeted three anti-muslim videos yesterday which were posted by a so-called far-right British nationalist, and this certainly got the attention of British prime minister Theresa May. Trump then fired another tweet later in the evening suggesting May should worry about "destructive radical islamic terrorism" instead of him.

Trump even tweeted his opinions on the death of a former staffer in one of Scarborough's district offices when he was in Congress. The President called it an unsolved mystery in Florida, which a medical examiner found to be a natural death.

"Today the president crossed another deep and disturbing line with his attacks on Joe. The chief law enforcement officer of the United States of America advanced a false conspiracy theory to intimidate the press and cause a chilling effect on the First Amendment - Joe and I are not intimidated. And his bizarre behavior contravenes both the Constitution and basic moral judgment." - Mika Brzezinski

The it was Scarborough's turn.

"You represent 325 million people whose lives are literally in your hands, and we are facing a showdown with a nuclear power and you have somebody inside the White House that the New York Daily News says is mentally unfit. That people close to him say is mentally unfit. That people close to him during the campaign told me had early stages of dementia." - Joe Scarborough

Expect more of this mud slinging as the days roll on.
