ESPN announced on Monday that announcer Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for "a second violation of our social media guidelines".

Hill had taken to twitter to weigh in on Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his decision to require all Dallas players to stand for the national anthem. This, after her previous tweets about the president and his handling of the Charlottesville riots, led the network for take action against her.

President Trump weighed in on the situation as well. After tweeting out support for Jerry Jones, he also lashed out directly at Hill.

Jemele Hill's co-host, Michael Smith, was also off the air Monday night. He stated that he took the night off to digest the situation but would be returning to the air on Tuesday.
