Liz Warren's most powerful moment in Wednesday's debate made her the most vulnerable, for she took an absolutist stand on women's rights. Scott could have put her away with the right answer, but I can't share it with you - only with him.

The women of Massachusetts need a senator they can count on not some of the time, but all of the time... this one really matters...

Mitt Romney has been telling a story about meeting Glenn Doherty, a story which the fallen retired Navy Seal said today she objects to.

I feel when he brings up my son's death he's politicizing it.

Here's Romney talking about Glenn Doherty while campaigning.

The slimy Obama campaign claims it wasn't Mitt Romney on stage because he'd changed his positions on things like his "5 trillion dollar tax cut." Here, Obama campaign official Stephanie Cutter admits Romney doesn't have a 5 trillion dollar tax cut proposal.

Well, okay, stipulated, it won't be near 5 trillion dollars. (Good part starts about 40 seconds in)

A look at absentee ballots shows more Republican activity than Democratic.

Mitt Romney's campaign is working hard to chip away at President Barack Obama's advantage among early voters, and there are signs the effort is paying off in North Carolina and Florida, two competitive states that the Republican nominee can ill afford to lose.

Obama dominated early voting in key states four years ago, giving him a big advantage over Republican John McCain before Election Day even arrived. In Colorado, Florida, Iowa and North Carolina, Obama built up such big leads among early voters that he won each state despite losing the Election Day vote, according to voting data compiled by The Associated Press.

The level of lying the president has engaged in personally to coverup what happened in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens has been nothing short of vulgar. But now it goes to another level as we learn that there never was a protest outside the consulate in Benghazi.

The State Department said Tuesday that it never concluded the consulate attack in Libya stemmed from protests over an American-made video ridiculing Islam, raising further questions about why the Obama administration used that explanation for more than a week after assailants killed the US ambassador and three other Americans.

"That was not our conclusion," an official said. They said it was instead a co-ordinated assault involving several groups of men armed with machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades over an expanse of more than a mile. "

There was no actionable intelligence of any planned or imminent attack," a top state department official said.
