In a bizarre mistake during a Univision interview yesterday, President Obama, who snowed the American people that he was a candidate of change four years ago, says he's learned that Washington can't be changed from the inside - and pretends that he really tried.

The fact that we haven't been able to change the tone in Washington is disappointing... I've learned some lessons... you can't change Washington from the inside, you can only change it from the outside...

The Brown/Warren debate opens on the question of character. Scott is nervous and rushed, and doesn't make the fraud charges against Warren as effectively as he might have.

I think what your referring to is the fact that professor Warren claimed that she is a native American, a person of color, and as you can see, she is not...

Chuck Todd thinks that when you play the rest of what Senator Obama said 14 years ago about supporting redistribution, it somehow mitigates the gotcha quality of the socialist confession. I don't see how it changes anything.

Even experienced pols choke under the pressure of a high-stakes debate. Here, former Gov Tim Kaine invents a new policy position in a debate with George Allen in the race for Virginia senate.

"I would be open to a proposal to have some minimum tax level for everyone," said Kaine today at a Senate debate between himself and his opponent, Republican George Allen.

Allen said after the debate that the statement underscores Kaine’s desire to impose higher taxes on struggling, working-class Virginians. Kaine scoffed, calling it no big deal.

Much about the Obama biography - accepted and repeated by the adoring media - is obviously false. The Washington Examiner has done a 4 year tardy investigation. It's fascinating how he went through his life having accomplished nothing before becoming president, but more importantly, having stood for nothing.

But beyond the spin and the polls, a starkly different picture emerges. It is a portrait of a man quite unlike his image, not a visionary reformer but rather a classic Chicago machine pol who thrives on rewarding himself and his friends with the spoils of public office, and who uses his position to punish his enemies.

The Obama administration is now admitting that the attack on our diplomats in Benghazi was a terror attack - just as a link is found between a former Gitmo prisoner and the street protests.

I would say yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said Wednesday at a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, in response to questioning from Chairman Joe Lieberman (I-CT) about the attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

Mitt continues on the dependency theme, going after the president for his redistributive, socialist ways. In addition to letting the media into his fundraisers for the first time ever for these remarks, he ran an op-ed in USA Today.

My experience has taught me that government works best when it creates the space for individuals and families to pursue success and achieve great things. Economic freedom is the only force that has consistently succeeded in creating sustained prosperity and lifting people out of poverty. It is why our economy rose to rival those of the world's leading powers -- and has long since surpassed them all.

The dreamers and the entrepreneurs, not government, built this economy, and they can once again make it strong. The dreamers and the entrepreneurs, not government, built this economy, and they can once again make it strong.

This ad's pretty powerful.

The ad running in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin, comes just days before Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood leader, makes his first visit to the White House and a week after the U.S. embassy in Cairo was attacked by opposition groups.

Let Freedom Ring President Colin Hanna said his goal is to raise doubts about Obama's foreign policy, especially his outreach to Muslim radicals at a time when Israel is growing concerned that America is abandoning it.

Joe Kennedy's candidacy is a joke. The idea of a guy without adult accomplishments to be running for congress based on his inherited name and wealth is an insult to voters - if only they were smart enough to be insulted. Here's a nice little ad that makes the point from Sean Bielat.
