Whitman Can Still Win in California
Christine Whitman can still win the governor's race in California. She's only down 6 points, and the polls can easily be off that much in judging who are likely voters. Also, undecided voters should break toward Whitman, as they've had 35 years to get to know Brown. Here are today's numbers from Rasmussen.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Brown picking up 48% of the vote, while Whitman draws support from 42%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
What will Jerry Brown do as governor? He'll dish out money. Isn't that the vision that all Democrats have for themselves?
