West Bank Shuffle

Is anyone offended by this video of Israeli soldiers breaking into dance while patrolling the streets of Hebron in the West Bank?

The Israeli soldiers dance video is being called the ‘West Bank Shuffle,’ and actually caused minor controversy when it first appeared online. Multiple reports stated that the troops could face disciplinary action for their antics. It turns out Israeli military officials have since taken a lighter stance on the issue, calling it a mere harmless ‘stunt.’
I got emotional watching this. Humanity takes no vacation in the hearts of these soldiers, joy bubbling up even as their lives are in danger. Others might cry over their poor performance... certainly, they should have done a little more work on the routine before putting the video into circulation, as American soldiers did in Afghanistan who had a hot Lady Gaga tribute go viral in late April.
When he posted the video, 24-year-old soldier and amateur video director Aaron Melcher included the following note: "This is a couple guys located in Afghanistan, that re-made the music video by Lady Gaga....Telephone. Prepare yourself for a fantastical journey." "Right now this is the temporary version, we have more scenes to cut, and edit, however with guys always on mission it is harder to film than you think."
