Everyone is starting to predict a GOP landslide in November, but will Democrats in Massachusetts go under? Here's Chuck Todd breaking down the numbers from MSNBC's Morning Joe.
There will be changes in Massachusetts, where Tuesday night incumbent Bleeding Heart Deval Patrick got smoked in a debate by Republican Charlie Baker.
The GOP’s Baker landed the first blow accusing the governor of letting government spending spiral out of control leaving the “next governor” with a $2 billion deficit.
“This is what the whole race is about - jobs, taxes and spending,” said Baker, who said the state income tax should be trimmed back to 5 percent right away to help taxpayers recover.
Charlie was going to win anyway, but tonight's aggressive, confident performance by the former CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health seals the deal.
