Surprise: Racers Caught on PBS

What is a bigot?

a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race

Sounds like a liberal! Liberals are so intolerant of ideas they oppose that they call the opposition racist at the drop of a hat. We have a new word for these divisive bomb throwers: Racers. Here, a group of liberal journalists on Emily Rooney's weekly Beat the Press show on WGBH Boston are zealous in their disregard for appropriate public discourse.

Notice their proud Groupthink? They fight to out-Racer one another.

I had the chance to explain this to Emily, and long-time Democratic consultant Dan Payne, during a session of her Greater Boston show on Wednesday.

Remember when, after the shooting of Congressman Giffords in Tucson, the lefties turned the media machine over to the Democrat spin on the need to curb the hateful public discourse that the right practiced?

"Earlier in the decade, it was paramilitary groups and nativists who were reacting to illegal immigration," Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center said. "But then you have the first black president and the economy, which just exacerbates the feeling among some whites that they are losing opportunities, or losing their country.

"Now you're seeing a cross-fertilization between those groups from the early 2000s and the people who are upset over Obama and the economy."

I assume these very bright journalists are too much in the bubble to realize they are the dupes of a Democrat machine that requires racism be perceived to be alive in order to maintain its power.
