Sununu Defends Mitt, Globe Explains Relationship

Former New Hampshire Governor John Sununu offers a vigorous defense of Mitt Romney.

From MSNBC's New Hampshire primary coverage, former Governor John H. Sununu expressed his discontent with some of the recent attacks by Mitt Romney's fellow Republican presidential candidates, going so far as to call the attacks on Mitt Romney "Socialist."

The Boston Globe ran a story Wednesday explaining that Sununu's commitment to Romney came from Mitt's assistance in raising money for dozens of Republicans running for office in New Hampshire while Sununu was running the state GOP.

Campaign aides estimated that Romney and his political action committees poured more than $100,000 into a variety of local campaigns and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars more.
