Poll: Scott Brown Leads Warren By Nine
A new poll shows Scott Brown leading Betsy Warren by 9 points, with a 60 to 28 lead over independents, but against a coniving manipulater like her, he's got his work cut out for him. On Greater Boston Thursday night, Emily Rooney dodges a question about the preponderance of her donations coming from out of state and turns herself into a victim.
But here's the number that matters most to me. We've had more than 23,000 people, here in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, who've said, 'I'm in...' and their average contribution if $64... Scott Brown may outspend me, but he's not going to outwork me in this election.
She's a sorcerer. Notice how Warren's analysis - the $64 average donation - is only based on those 23,000 in state donors.
Okay, back to the poll.
The Suffolk University/7News poll, which was released late Thursday night, asked 600 likely voters across Massachusetts which candidate they would support in a head-to-head matchup, if the election was held today. The poll has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 4 percentage points.
Forty-nine percent of respondents said they would vote for Brown while 40 percent said they would back Warren, according to the poll.
Separately, 45 percent of respondents said that Brown deserved to be reelected, 39 percent said he did not, and 16 percent were undecided.
