Obama Runs Out of Time for CBC
Submitted By Todd on September 25th at 6:15pm
The president gets all emotional, and draws on his urban roots, to get a crowd at a Congressional Black Caucus event to "quit complainin', quit grumblin', quit cryin'." Obama even hits the side of the podium as he ends his speech.
I don't have time to feel sorry for myself. I don't have time to complain. I am going to press on.
Funny, he seemed to have plenty of time over the summer.
"With patient and firm determination, I am going to press on for jobs," Obama told the caucus' annual dinner.
Obama told the largely African-American audience, "I expect all of you to march with me and press on."
Press on. I don't have time. Bedroom slippers! Who writes this crap, and who, in the world, gets swept up by it?
