Mitt Campaigns with Scott Walker, Paul Ryan

Mitt campaigned in Wisconsin with Scott Walker and Paul Ryan yesterday, predicting that he will win the blue state.

By laying down such an audacious prediction so early - after all, no Republican presidential hopeful has won the state since Ronald Reagan in 1984 - Romney and his surrogates signaled that they intend to put Wisconsin into political play.

Obama won the state by 14 percentage points in 2008. But since then, Republicans have surged in Wisconsin, highlighted by Gov. Scott Walker's 7-point victory over Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in the June 5 recall.
