There was this attitude and air of condescension that came with Al Gore... I just didn't consider him then, and throughout most of his political career, all that approachable.

... I think part of what his mania about Climate Change is part and parcel of that sort of embedded arrogance or sense of superiority... he sees it, and if you don't see it you're either small-minded, dim-witted, or now, a borderline racist.
