I believe I have found a major news story NOT influenced by Scott Brown. What in the world could it be? Well, it starts with an I, and it has nothing to do with Barack Obama, obviously. Scott, meanwhile, has announced a victory tour to meet with the voters of Massachusetts - here's the press release: SENATOR-ELECT SCOTT BROWN ANNOUNCES
U.S. Senator-elect Scott Brown today announced the dates and locations for a series of “Citizen Open Houses” to begin this Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. Over three days, Senator-elect Brown will make six stops across the state to thank the people of the Commonwealth for his victory in last week’s special Senate election. He invited all members of the public to attend.
“We won this election thanks to the grassroots support of the people, and I want to personally show how much I appreciate that support and tell them that I will always strive to be an independent voice in Washington,” said Brown. “I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces from the campaign trail, but I hope to see lots of new faces as well because I don’t just want to be the Senator of those who supported me. I want to be the Senator for all of the people of Massachusetts.” The details of Senator-elect Brown’s “Citizen Open Houses” are as follows: Friday, January 29, 2010
