Here's the New ObamaCare Mandate

Can the federal government force private insurance companies to offer products for no charge? Chief of Staff Jack Lew says yes, but isn't very convincing. US Bishops, on the other hand, are convincing.

The U.S. bishops say the proposal made today by President Barack Obama's administration... "continues to involve needless government intrusion in the internal governance of religious institutions, and to threaten government coercion of religious people and groups to violate their most deeply held convictions."

It seems to me this isn't a constitutional issue - the White House is designing the insurance plans, it will be up to the companies whether they want to sell them or not. Lew should have had a better answer. It is the entirety of the federal health reform law that is unconstitutional.
