Heilemann: Obama Doesn't Talk to His Own Cabinet
Hope & Change has come with many surprises - but here's a doozy from John Heiliman, co-author of Game Change. President Obama was so devoted to the advice he received from the Chicago Mafia that he had no contact with many in his own cabinet.
“What you had was really three or four people running the entire government,” says the former White House strategist. “I thought they put a pretty good Cabinet together, but most of those guys might as well be in the witness-protection program.”
