Finally, he quits

Barack has finally resigned from the church of bigotry, divisiveness and hatred that has been his spiritual home for the past 16 years:
Barack Obama announced Saturday that he and his wife had resigned as members of their Chicago church in the wake of controversial remarks from its pulpit that have become a serious distraction to his presidential campaign. Why'd he do it?
...he quit his Chicago church in the aftermath of inflammatory sermons that could become a lightning rod in the November election.Could become a lightening rod? How about "that will make him unelectable this fall."
"This is not a decision I come to lightly and frankly it's one I make with some sadness," Obama told reporters during a stop in South Dakota. "Trinity was where I found Jesus Christ, where we were married, where our children were baptized."Obviously a difficult decision for Barack. But any sane human being would have been out of there, say, 16 years ago!
"It's clear that now that I'm a candidate for president, every time something is said in the church by anyone associated with Trinity, including guest pastors, the remarks will be imputed to me even if they totally conflict with my long-held views, statements and principles," Obama said.Ah, so Barack thinks he should be viewed as the victim here. But didn't his donation last year of $26,270 help make those guest pastors possible?
