Crack Down

Democrats, getting tough in order to justify their betrayal of the nation on immigration, have passed a measure they say will make the country more secure. The president, with great excitement, has signed the measure!

President Obama signed a new border security bill today, but didn't comment on it or the prospects of more immigration legislation down the line.

Only photographers were allowed into the Oval Office ceremony. No reporters.

The Southwest Border Security Bill provides $600 million "to enhance technology at the border, share information and support with state, local and tribal law enforcement, and increase (federal) presence and law enforcement activities at the border," the White House said in a statement.

Ooohhh, how it pains the haters of the left to stand up for the rule of law when border lawlessness is their goal. But, of course, they smile inside, secure that they are engaging in toothless tokenism!

I have made securing our Southwest border a top priority since I came to office. That is why my administration has dedicated unprecedented resources and personnel to combating the transnational criminal organizations that traffic in drugs, weapons, and money, and smuggle people across the border with Mexico.

Now that the CBO tells Democrats they'll turn a profit on the border crackdown, I expect they'll pass tougher measures next week to further reduce the deficit.
