Mitt Romney made a pitch for saving millions of American children from the punishment of bad education last week. He has been seconded by Cardinal Donald Wuerl.

If you live in some of the poorest neighborhoods, you don't get an option... that's why the Catholic Church is there... Wouldn't it be fair, wouldn't it be just... if every child got a chance at an... academically excellent education?
