Can Laughs Save Rick Perry?

Rick Perry was struggling in the polls even before last week's debate disaster, but the incident has given him the chance to operate from his comfort zone: personality. Perry's getting lots of coverage for his humor in Saturday night's debate.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll taken after the Perry gaffe shows the Texas governor in fourth place.

The onbline survey of 461 registered Republican, conducted Thursday and Friday, showed Perry in fourth place with 12 percent. Former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts led with 28 percent. Atlanta businessman Herman Cain was second with 20 percent, followed by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich with 16 percent.
