With this week's polls showing the president gaining strength in swing states, the punditry class is in shock, having reported widely that June has been a horrible month for the president.

This is poking a hole in the Washington based conventional wisdom that Obama's been stumbling... I think it vindicates the Obama campaign to some degree...
