Barack's Expanding Limits

Will you be attending?
We are witnessing the greatest opportunity for bold progressive reform in a generation, but our shot at real change is only an opportunity, not a sure thing. President Obama can't do it alone. He needs a progressive movement behind him to expand the limits of the debate and to take on those standing in the way to create the change we need.
Expanding the limit of debate? Does that mean ending conversation? Those liberals.
Every year for the last six years, thousands of progressives from across the country have come together at the Campaign for America’s Future’s “Take Back America” conference to build the progressive movement. It’s the largest annual gathering of progressive activists and leaders. Now, the opportunities are greater and the stakes are higher, so it’s up to us to shape “America's Future Now.”
Perhaps they should just sell the event, as it it is main stream America that needs to get the country back from the Obama lefties.
At the end of President Obama’s first 100 days in office, the Campaign for America’s Future will host this year’s progressive convention, the “America’s Future Now” conference. This year’s gathering may have a new name and vision, but it will serve as the same place for progressives to build the movement -- the ideas, the messages, the campaigns and coalitions, the leaders and activists – that offers Americans a clear alternative to failed policies of the past.
Yup - a clear alternative to things that liberals care most about - like the war in Iraq (Obama won't end it), the war in Afghanistan (Obama wants to escalate), Gitmo (Obama won't close it), and the horrors of domestic spying (the President likes it.)
This year’s conference will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., from Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 3.
