Rand Paul has it right. The mood is anti-Washington, and his new ad, in his race for U.S. Senate in Kentucky, captures the feeling perfectly.

Candidates from across the country are running against Washington these days but none so aggressively -- or effectively -- as ophthalmologist Rand Paul.

The commercial goes on to tie Secretary of State Trey Grayson, Paul's opponent in the May 18 Republican primary, as part of the problem -- noting that Grayson raised money with AIG executives in Washington. "With Grayson in Washington where will it end," the narrator asks.
