Another State Trying to Lure Businesses From Illinois

Chris Christie is running ads trying to entice businesses to relocate from Illinois (huge tax increases) to New Jersey - where Christie promises not to raise taxes.

Gov. Pat Quinn, passed steep tax increases on both personal and corporate income and suspended net operating loss deductions. These measures take Illinois further down the path of business uncompetitiveness, dropping Illinois from 23rd to 35th out of the 50 states, according to the non-partisan Tax Foundation's 2011 State Business Tax Climate Index.

New Jersey is rated the 48th best state for business. California is 49th, and New York is 50th. Democrats love business, don't they?
