As someone who has played a role in most of the major Massachusetts political campaigns over the last twenty-five years, I know for a fact that folks around here love to follow politicians and elections as closely and with as much passion as a close Red Sox pennant race.

And although we would love to see the Sox win it all again, we know that the outcomes of these critical upcoming elections will have far more effect on all of us who live and work here than another Duck Boat Parade through the streets of Boston.

That’s why we will focus so closely on all the candidates and all the elections on our show during the coming weeks and months. We will have them in the studio to take your calls and answer your questions. We will have debates among the candidates so you can hear where they agree and disagree on the important issues facing our state. And you can evaluate their plans and proposals to get our state moving back in the right direction.

It’s going to be great. J-Pod and I thank you for listening to our show every day. And we urge you to bookmark our blog, add it to your favorites and follow along with us. You will find news and inside info that you won’t see anywhere else. We will also link to news and opinion that we think will inform you.

Between our show and this blog, you will have the best seat in the house to watch this amazing election unfold before your eyes. It has already been an historic year with the election of Scott Brown as our new United States Senator.

All we can say is stayed tuned. It’s only going to get better.
