Storm recovery continues

Thousands still without power

Work continues to restore power to the thousands left in the dark Sunday night.

The fast moving storm knocked down trees and power lines, at one point more than 300,000 customers in Massachusetts lost power.

Some communities are reconsidering trick-or-treating due to the damage.

Massachusetts was not alone in this storm. New Hampshire and Maine also experienced high winds and wide spread damage. The Governor of Maine declaring a state of emergency after nearly 500,000 homes and businesses lost power. Meteorologists on top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire recorded wind gusts of 130 mph.
