New Hampshire’s Attorney General is hoping an old booking photo will lead to more clues about the life of a serial killer in the Granite State. Officials released a 1973 booking photo of Terry Pedder Rasmussen hoping it triggers someone’s memory about a woman he was when he visited family in Arizona in 1975 or 1976. The booking photo is from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office after he was arrested as a fugitive from justice in 1973. There is no indication what state may have been looking for him at that time.

Rasmussen, known in New Hampshire as Bob Evans, is believed responsible for the deaths of the “Allenstown 4”. The bodies of a woman and three children were found in barrels at a New Hampshire state park in 1985 and 2000. One of the children has been identified as Rasmussen’s daughter, the identities of the remaining victims are unknown.

Rasmussen is also suspected of killing Denise Beaudin of Manchester, New Hampshire, she was last seen in 1981. Beaudin had a six-month-old daughter at the time. Rasmussen abandoned her at a California trailer park in 1986. He is not her biological father.

It was that woman’s search for her true identity that led to the uncovering of the mystery.

Rasmussen died in a California prison in 2010 where he was serving life for murdering his girlfriend Eusoon Jun.
