Multiple investigations are being launched after the husband of Senate President Stan Rosenberg is accused of sexual misconduct and assault.

Four men yesterday accused Rosenberg's husband, Bryon Hefner, of sexual assault and harassment.  Baker says the allegations are appalling and the Senate needs to start investigating immediately. The men were policy advisors and staffers.

The Senate is hiring an independent investigator to look into the disturbing claims according to the Boston Globe.

Governor Charlie Baker is calling for an investigation into allegations against Senate President Stan Rosenberg's husband.

The Senate President says he's recusing himself from all matters related to the allegations.  Rosenberg says he also supports calls for an independent investigation into the reports.  He is expected to retain the title of Senate President.

Attorney General Maura Healey also is calling for an investigation into the matter, calling the reports deeply disturbing.
