The measure is headed to the Governor's desk

A bill that would ban bump stock devices that increase the firing speed of weapons is now headed to Governor Charlie Baker's desk. Bump stocks are devices that can turn a semi-automatic weapon fully automatic.  The ban was proposed after it was learned that the Las Vegas mass shooter used bump stocks to make his weapons fully automatic.  A Tewksbury woman is among the more than 50 people killed in the attack.
