Framingham voters to chose first mayor

The state's largest town now a city

Framingham voters are selecting a mayor for the first time. Residents chose to adopt a city form of government in April. Former state Rep. John Stefani and Boston Museum of Science executive Yvonne Spicer are on the ballot. Voters will also select the 11 members of the new City Council a fill 9 seats on the new School Committee. Turnout is expected to be high, 45 to 50 percent. Polls close at 8 p.m.
