Cleanup is underway following a fast moving storm Sunday night. Tens of thousands are waking up without power as the high winds brought down trees and power lines across the state.

The National Weather Service reports sustained winds of around 40 mph, with gusts of 70 mph in some areas. Several school districts have delayed or canceled school as the work continues.

Service on the Providence line of the commuter rail was suspended from Providence to Canton due to downed trees. Several other MBTA lines also reported delays.
